Robin was born at 6:53 pm on August 7, 1956 in the Swedish Hospital
in Minneapolis. Her doctor was Dr. Lynch who had been our family doctor
since I was born 35 years before. We lived at 2401 Harriet Avenue South
in Minneapolis Minnesota at that time.
Robin weighed 8 lbs. 2 oz and was 20 and 1/2 inches long. She was the most beautiful baby ever born and her parents were very proud!
Robin attended school at Burroughs, Ramsey and graduated from Washburn High School.
A subsequent position with Equitable took her to Des Moines, Iowa where she met and fell in love with Jon Overby. Robin has continued to work since that time and at present is the only reason Certainteed, Inc. continues to operate, her father states. She is irreplaceable.
Besides her business career, she and Jon have raised two of our lovely grandchildren, Dolly Paige and Morgan.
