Whew, it's been a
whirl-wind for us these past few weeks! We are now back in Western New York
State for the summer. The weather hasn't been exactly what we've been used to
over these past few months, and we are anxiously looking forward to better days!
We managed to arrive in Buffalo in plenty of time for the arrival of our second
grandchild...2 weeks before his arrival. Yes, HIS arrival, Melanie gave
birth to a beautiful baby boy on May 10th! Almost another Mother's Day baby!
Since we arrived here, we have been pretty busy with family activities and helping out etc.
Madison celebrated her 2nd Birthday shortly after we arrived and then the
arrival of Ian and the arrival of Ryan from Florida!
We recently
were able to venture out on our own and are in our home park here in Western New
York. The peace & quiet is wonderful! I guess Daryl and I have been
spoiled since our new lifestyle of full time RV'ing and a house full of people
with two children and a dog are a bit much for our nicely found quiet lifestyle!
We are enjoying seeing "The Kids" again, but it also feels good to be on our
own again after 3 weeks of confusion!
Traveling and sightseeing for
us will be very limited for us during May & June as there will be many
family activities taking place. We do have plans for being back in North
Carolina & Georgia during this time. Melanie & Rodney are job
interviewing in North Carolina and we are going along to take care of the
little ones. Then we will be off to Georgia for another short stay with
Cindy & Pat to attend P.J.'s high school graduation and a baby
shower for Cassie. The family joke of the everlasting rubber band leading
back to Georgia still continues!
