December - The beginning of December brought us to  Goodyear, in the Phoenix area and catching up with our friends, Barb & Gary from NY. We are enjoying our time with Barb & Gary and the weather here. Daryl has been playing water volleyball at least 3 times a week. (Needs to be a little warmer for me to join in!) We are staying at the Phoenix Destiny RV Resort in Goodyear. It's a great place to get in lots of bike riding, so much so, someone decided to lift ours while we were in NY. Fortunately, we have found another just like it, and look forward to some great exercise rides. As it is with most parks we have encountered, there are some absolutely wonderful people who enjoy a similar lifestyle. It has been great meeting people from all over the US and Canada. December 11 - Leaving the sunny skies of the area to fly back to New York to spend the Holidays in the good 'ol snow country of Buffalo! :-( It will be great to be with "the kids" etc. and see Madison, but we aren't looking forward to the cold and snow!) December 11 - January 6 - Had a nice flight to Buffalo and we were greeted with plenty of snow on the ground when we arrived! Melanie & Ryan met us at the airport. (Ryan flew in on the 10th. Yes, he got to see Madison first!!) It was Great to see the kids again! Much to our surprise, Rodney had Madison up and waiting for us even though it was way past her bedtime. What a cutie!! She greeted us with a smile and was eager to give us one of her kisses! She really surprised us by saying "Nannie" & "Poppie". We have tried many times to talk with her on the telephone so our voice is familiar to her, but she wants nothing to do with the telephone! December flew by! We had a wonderful Christmas and thoroughly enjoyed our time with our family. Daryl's Family Christmas brought most of the family together for the annual Family Christmas at Grandma's.  Those that were not able to be there were greatly missed!  Our time spent at Melanie & Rodney's was wonderful...Nannie & Poppie had the privilege of watching Madison while Mommy & Daddy were at work! What a "pistol" she is!! She has grown so much since we last saw her in August. She is developing into a cute toddler who is also approaching those "terrible two's"! She certainly has a mind of her own! But for the most part, she is the best baby I have ever encountered! She actually tells you that she wants to go "Nite Nite"!!! Unfortunately, we weren't able to see everyone that we had hoped to see over the Holidays, but we will certainly have more time and better weather when we return to New York in early May. (Need to be there for the birth of our next grandchild!!) Maybe another Mother's Day Baby?
