Isabel was born in approximately 1828. I don't know who her parents were or whether she had siblings. What is known is that she married Peter Sewell and they had a daughter called Isabella Camilla Sewell on 16 November 1859. Peter records his occupation on the birth certificate as Cartman. Isabel's maiden name is particularly hard to decipher, however it definately ends in "...ison". Neither Peter nor Isabel can be found in the 1881 or 1901 census so I assume them both to be dead by this time. |
