John Rushall was born in approximately 1607 in Badby, Northamptonshire. On 15 July 1632 John married Bridget West and they proceeded to have at least eight children (possibly nine). I have found conflicting information suggesting his wife may have been called Ellen. Perhaps this was Bridget's middle name and she also used it or perhaps John married twice. Some of his children are listed in records as being children of Bridget while others of Ellen. Some are even listed twice, once to Bridget and once to Ellen.

John was buried in Badby on 21 September 1662 and it is possible that there may have been a will made though I have never seen it.
