What is certain is Margaret Henderson married Thomas Keith in Old Machar in 1804 and went on to have nine children. A search of the Church of Latter Day Saints website records the only Margaret Henderson born in Old Machar at around that time to be christened on 27 November 1785. This would make her sixteen years older than her husband-to-be. The fact that she is younger than him places her at approximately nineteen when she married (with a baby on the way) and forty when she had her last child. Certainly, the Margaret Henderson that went on to have this family would have to be born between 1780 and 1788 in order for her to be at least sixteen when she married and less than 45 when she had her last child. She is perfectly aged for her eventual family and, I believe this to be strong circumstantial evidence supporting the link.
