History - The web site of the Institute of Historical Research Postgraduate Research Opportunities at the Institute of Historical Research Second issue of History in Focus - What is History. The HISTORY web site was established in 1993 with the aim of promoting the use of electronic networks by historians and history students and providing easy access to on-line resources. The site also gives access to information about the IHR, its publications and affiliated organisations.
Inquiries may be directed to Professor Bodnar or Dr. . The center takes a special interest in American history in general and the history of Indiana and the Midwest in particular. It seeks to preserve historical data that usually cannot be found in any written form and exists mainly in the memories of historical participants themselves. Since 1968, the center has collected over 1,600 recorded interviews on topics ranging from the history of Indiana communities to the evolution of American philanthropy.

The University of Kansas Natural History Museum The mission of the KU Natural History Museum is to study the life of the planet for the benefit of the earth and its inhabitants. The Compleat Cladist, one of the museum's most popular Special Publications, is out of print. A new edition is expected in 2001, but until it becomes available, the museum has made available free a portable document format version of the first edition.
