The HISTORY web site was established in 1993 with the aim of promoting the use of electronic networks by historians and history students and providing easy access to on-line resources. The site also gives access to information about the IHR, its publications and affiliated organisations. Through its Oral History Program, the Center conducts interviews with selected pediatricians and other leaders in the advancement of children's health care, preserving the recordings and transcripts. The Pediatric History Center preserves and organizes these materials to make them available for use by Academy members, staff, and outside researchers. Assistance with historical research is available through the archivist; however, individuals wishing to conduct extensive research are encouraged to make an appointment to visit the archives. Current and historical Academy documents and other publications on the development of pediatrics and the growth of the American Academy of Pediatrics. A growing oral history collection for use by members, staff and outside scholars.

UCSD Modern Chinese History Site Welcome to the Chinese History Research Site at UCSD The reviews and essays section provides book reviews and critical essays on fifty classics in the historiography of modern China. The sources section is a guide to English and Chinese materials relating to historical research on modern China. The archives section provides information on Chinese local archives and also serves as a site for researchers to exchange information. The bibliography section contains a list of English-language works on Qing, Republican, and PRC history.
