Game started fast and furious pace with Cempaka FC dictating play with their young and energetic players. Mas vets tried to follow their pace but due to age factor, they are unable to follow their tempo. Cempaka finally took an early lead courtesy of Hafiz "Almunia" who brought down one of the speedy Cempaka forward inside the box. Without hesitation ref pointed to the spot and Cempaka FC gleefully scored from the spot. Mas Vets then started to control the match after that and they were rewarded courtesy of an own goal by one of the Cempaka defence much to the dismay of their Manager, Ismail "Kulup" (ex Mas vets) who eagerly wanted to beat the hell out of Mas Vets after they drop him from the squad due to disciplinary reason. (AWOL). Cempaka then took the lead again after they begin to find their fast rhythm again much to the delight of their Manager who began to ran a lap of honour after the halftime whistle was blown. Second half begin with the introduction of strikers "Kiko" Kadir, speedy "Roy" Rizal and Capt. Faizal "Pachai". Mas Vets then started to play more as a unit and attacked the Cempaka defence more. Finally they were rewarded with a controvesial goal after "Kiko Kadir" scored from an offside position but he cleverly placed himself there knowing there's a deflection from one of the Cempaka defence which put him in an onside position. He easily scored from there. Mas Vets could have won the match in the dying seconds after "Kiko" Kadir was brought down by the Cempaka's keeper in. front of goalmouth but the ref thought otherwise. So "Kiko" Kadir saves the day for Mas Vets just like Kiko Macheda saves the day for MU later that night by scoring the goal for MU against Villa. Cheers!
