Our four person office requires part-time accountant for 12 to 15 hours per week, who can work independently and who takes pride in accuracy, meeting deadlines, being part of an effective, service oriented team. If you have an accounting designation, e.g. CA, CGA or CMA (or senior level student) with least one year of experience using AccPac Plus, and are proficient with Excel and Word, this position could be for you. We offer a challenging opportunity in a growing company. Some flexibility will needed regarding hours, especially for month-end closing. Responsibilities include: preparing entering A/P invoices, sales journal, payroll journal and adjusting entries, generating A/P cheques, analyzing reconciling trial balance accounts, and preparing monthly financial statements and related analytical spreadsheets on timely basis.
