This build was
my first attempt at moulding and casting. I wanted make something that
I couldn't (easily) make another way - hence the choice of Skewb
Cylinder. But I think I made some wrong choices...
I made by hand master from balsa wood. This master was well shaped but
not well finished (should have made another). Anyway I made a one
part silicone mould and cast four pieces in white resin plaster -
this was the only product I could find at the time. Each cast piece had
the four corners cut off using the angled jig shown. Perhaps it would
have been better to cut up the master and make five two-part moulds.

Extensions were glued on with 4-minute 2-part epoxy glue.

I had to spend a
long while filing the gaps to give free movement. Then I filled in all
those unsightly grooves, sprayed the puzzle up and decided how to
sticker it. This was one option..

But I chose this one..

It turns well enough but I need to remake this one learning from my mistakes.
