A Map Projection Library
  • These pages contain a collection of national Map Projection Parameters, mainly for the countries of Europe
  • The projection parameters, at the moment, as already implemented, mainly are in the ARC/INFO-Format, but there is No Geodetic Datum Transformation specified in relation to WGS84 or to another Coordinate Reference System.
Be careful, the Map Projection Information collected here do not include the full Geodetic Reference System specification to convert between different systems!

Full Map Projection Information for Coordinate Conversion between different Spatial Coordinate Systems need: 

  • Map Projection with parameters
  • Reference Surface (ellipsoid, sphere, geoid)
  • Geodetic Datum or Datum Transformation Parameters
  • About Spatial Coordinate Systems
