My name is Justin Behan and I
have
been a voluntary member of the Order of Malta Ambulance Corps (OMAC), Baldoyle,
Dublin, Ireland since 1985 where I hold the rank Lieutenant (also shortened to
Lieut. or Lt). I have done many training courses including advanced first aid, basic first aid, cpr,
advanced resuscitation using mouth to mouth, bvm's and defibrillators. I
also have my driving license that allows me to drive ambulances as well as carry
out first aid to patients. Although most of the training has been with the Order of Malta Ambulance Corps I
have also trained in Eire with the Irish Red Cross Society, St Johns
Ambulance Brigade, Civil Defence rescue and I have participated in first aid and
rescue competitions as both a competitor and casualty. I have participated
in many international first aid and nursing duties on a voluntary basis in the
following countries Ireland, Northern Ireland, England, France, Palestine,
Israel and Jordan. The full title Order of Malta Ambulance Corps is The
Ambulance Corps of the Irish Association of the Sovereign Military Hospitaller
Order of St John of Jerusalem of Rhodes and of Malta. The Sovereign
Military Hospitaller Order of St John of Jerusalem of Rhodes and of Malta is
usually shortened to Sovereign Military Order of Malta (SMOM). In Ireland
North and South the primary function of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta is
to provide an ambulance service for those people most in need. The Order
of Malta is a worldwide group of people and from this site you can find links to
