The Aussie Bulldog was named one of the founders on the breed - Noel Green. The Aussies were roadtested on Burkes Backyard in October 1998 where Pip Nobes appeared with her smaller line of dogs know as Australian Bulldogs. The development of the Aussies has been acheived by generations of selective breeding staying closed to the English Staffordshire Bullterrier, Bullmastiff & British Bulldog and the concentration entirely on mating Aussie Bulldog to Aussie Bulldog with most successful results.
