The texel could be called a longhaired rex, as it has a dense, springy coat - similar to the rex. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
But unlike the rex this breed has a soft feel to the coat. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

The show coat is presented with a centre parting down the spine, and like the sheltie there is no hair covering the face. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
