Below is a great way to find out roughly when your cavy is due to give birth.

A few things to note:

* This chart is a guide from the actual day of conception (and even if you see your cavy being mated, they may not conceive at that time) * This chart is only a rough guide, and your cavy may deliver up to a week either side - depending on how large the litter is. * This chart is (C) copywrite of Malibu Cavy Stud 2004 and may not be printed or reproduced without my permission * Chances are, your cavy will not get pregnant the very first day she   goes in with a boar as this is very uncommon (unless she is put in            the exact day she is on heat)  * Sows have heat cycles, and get pregnant during these cycles.  Be prepared that hey may not get pregnant in the first, 2nd, 3rd... heat cycle.

How do you read the chart? Using the calender on the pink lines find the day your cavy was mated.  Below this, on the purple line, will be the rough delivery date

Hint for using...this is a great way to know the absolute earliest or latest your cavy can deliever.  Just record the day your sow went in for breeding, and the day you took her out.  This gives a guide to the possible time frame she can deliver within
