This breed, as the name suggest, is a pure white cavy which has pink eyes.

Some people may mistakenly refer to this breed as an "albino" - but they are not (there is actually no true albino in cavies, the closest genetically is a himalayan).

The pigment on the self white is to be "flesh pink and as light as possible to suit the coat colour.

Self PE Whites are often seen in the show results as there are many around which are fantastic examples of their breed standard.

Newborn pe white babies will look very similar as they do as adults - so always helps to mark out your "top pic" within the first few days of birth.
