CRESTEDS?

A crest is a deep rosette that is positioned centrally between the ears and the eyes.  It forms a circle - from there the hairs open outwards - forming a pin point centre, the tighter the crest the better.

In order to breed a crested one or both of the parents MUST be crested themselves

When born, you can tell a crested from that
which is not crested straight away - the top of
the head will look very flat, and it will take a few weeks for the crest to show its full potential.
