you get me some of the leaves of that plant behind you."
You turn around and see a small bush in the shape of an... Apple. You shrug and pluck a bunch of leaves off, and hastily give them to the equine. "Thank you." she says. "Would you like some?" You stare for a moment, but hesitantly accept one. "Umm... Thanks." She looks at you expectantly as she munches on her own leaves. You get the idea, and carefully shred off a tiny piece with your teeth. Surprisingly, it tastes brilliant! You shove the whole handful into your mouth, forgetting any table manners, and start chewing loudly. Neither Atlas or the river equine seem to mind, though, they too are eating the leaves very enthusiastically. After she swallows, she opens her mouth to speak. "They serve these in dishes all the time at the Castle of Bunny." Castle of Bunny? Peculiar name. "My name is Gardevior." she adds. You nod, and bid her farewell. You walk back to Atlas, who is munching on some exceptionally cripsy leaves. Through his mouthful (you can barely make out his words) he blurts out, "Oh, hello. I see you like them too- you can plant some in your own realm. In the middle of each leaf is a seed, which is quite delicious to suck on, and you may plant them. They grow in any kind of soil, but they come out the most delicious in the special soil that you can only find in this realm. They do give it away as potting soil at the castle, however." Slowly, you make out what he just said, and nod. He takes a gulp, gags for a few seconds, and swallows. Okayyyyy... You are distracted from your thoughts by a sign nearby.
You finish reading it, and follow Atlas down the path back into the forest. Wait! You see something nearby the river. Stop Atlas and check it out? There's also another path that Atlas isn't leading you on. Should you check that out? Descision, decisions... |
