Forest Of The Bloody Moon

You step into a strange looking forest, the trees are an odd shade of red. Not like any color of leaves you have ever seen before. You step up to the forest and a red glow falls upon you, your eyes raise up to the moon. You let out a terrible gasp, the moon is a horrid red color and seems to almost be bleeding. You quickly look back towards the forest not wanting to see the horrifying sight again. You look around trying to find some sign that might tell you where on earth you might be. But you find nothing more then a broken stump where a sign should have been. You let out a big sigh of frustration, but keep looking around. Sudden movement in the trees above draws your attention, your heart begins to race knowing that something is alive out there. A low snarl is released from what ever is hidden in the trees, you look up in time to see something move. But it is to fast for you to actually see what it is, a pair of eyes peer out at you looking very disturbed at your being there. You stumble and fall backwards, you hold your hands out to catch you as you hit the ground. Pain shoots up your arm, you look down to inspect how badly it is hurt. In those few seconds a large creature leaps out at you teeth bared and claws extended. The creature knocks in to you forcing you down holding one large paw agents your throat. You gasp from the shock of it all, the creature lowers its head to you and you are able to make out what it is. It's a wolf like creature, the only difference is a jeweled is encrusted into its forehead. The wolf's fur is a dark grayish color, and it has what looks like flame markings on its shoulders and hunches. The wolf's feet also look as though flames are trying to climb up, all in all this creature looks mighty powerful and not at all happy to see you. "How did you find this place human?" A low gruff female voice speaks from the wolf's mouth. You blink a few times trying to clear your head and find your words. You begin to stutter but this aggravates the wolf even more. She presses harder on your throat, gurgling noises escape your throat. "I asked you a question! Why do you respond by only words uttered by mer children!" This wolf is obvisouly a guardian or something, and she is not at all happy to get a slow response from you. She glares down at you her breath reeking of a fresh kill, she looks up suddenly at the sound of gentle laughter. The wolf's grip on your neck loosens, and you look towards where the she has turned her gaze. Another wolf lies gently on a nearby branch, you crank your neck around to get a better look at the other wolf.

The new one's tail swings gently below the branch, the tail is ringed just like a raccoon's. As a matter of fact the whole wolf looks like a raccoon. You figure by the sound of the gentle laughter that this one too is a female. other wolf, "Why BlazeFighter how do you expect this human to answer you She smiles kindly at the when you hold your paw over their throat?" Her voice is gentle and light. You look back to BlazeFighter the wolf on top of you, her snarl relaxes but her eyes stay narrowed. She steps off and the other wolf leaps down and pads up to you. "Hello stranger my name is RaccTapper, and I see you've already met BlazeFighter." RaccTapper nods her head to the other female who now has stepped back in to the shadows. Probably keeping guard from strangers like yourself. RaccTapper sits down on her haunches and watches you, she follows your eyes as they inspect this new kind of wolf. She cocks her head to one side, "I take it you have never seen a Jeweled Wolf before?" You return RaccTapper's gaze unsure of what exactly to say, so you just nod your head in reply. "That is understandable not many humans have see our species, let alone know about us." RaccTapper looks towards the path that leads into the forest, a small shiver moves through out her body. It's as if there is something not right and the two wolves know it, but they are reluctant to say what. She turns back to you her expression changed back to the friendly wolf you first met. "I do hope that you enjoy your visit through out our forest." RaccTappers faces grows stern, "but I do warn you there are many dangers so keep your guard up. Most of the wolves here wont harm you, you might not even see some. But make sure you give them their space, and never try to capture any of them. If you try the results will be fatal." She takes another look down the path then back towards you. "I must bid you fare well human, I do hope you will visit us again sometime." With that all said and done RaccTapper takes off in to the dense forest, and you continue down the trail.
