Forest Of The Bloody Moon

You walk down the trail keeping your gaze in front of you, and remembering RaccTapper's warning. Your eyes search the area around you, nothing seems out of the ordinary but there is something wrong. You stop and listen very carefully, normally there would be birds chirping but here there is nothing but silence. You raise an eyebrow at the oddness of it, every forest has some sort of noise. You think about this for a moment, then freeze at the realization of what's wrong. Your eyes grow wide as you search the surrounding area, nothing moves but your body stays frigid and motionless. Something moves in front of you, a strange green patch sticks out from the reddish tone of the forest. You squint your eyes to make it out, as you do so a wolf softly pads out. Its fur is a stunning green color unlike any wolf you have ever seen before. Around all four ankles it bares some sort of silver band like jewelry as well as a silver band around its neck. The wolf looks up and its expression grows to fear, it begins to back up keeping its distance from you. You reach out your hand as a way of showing it you wont hurt it, but the wolf obvisouly does not understand. It opens its mouth and lets out a loud howling call, you cover your ears from the painful noise. You close your eyes hopeful that it will help you drown out the noise, but it doesn't help. The noise has stopped and you open your eyes, the wolf looks at you with weary eyes. It looks as though it is waiting for something or someone. You look around but see nothing, you let out a huge sigh of relief then turn back to the wolf. It watches you carefully with weary eyes not sure if she should leave you or stay. The wolf keeps its distance from you not wanting to get too close, it looks around franticly as if waiting for someone to answer its cry. But nothing happens and no one comes. Finally after a little while of watching you the wolf speaks, its tone is a bit shaky but you are able to make out it must be female. "Who are you, and what do you want?" You answer her without much problem, it must be because she is not trying to kill you. She cocks her head to one side in coursioty, but she keeps her muscles tense. "So your just a traveler, not a hunter?" You nod your head, and the wolf seems to relax a bit. But the sudden sound of leaves moving catches her attention causing her to react.

Out of the bushes pads a fairly strong looking wolf, his fur is a red copperish color and he blends in well with the surrounding area. But something is very different about this one, small spines seems to be growing from his back. Although they don't seem to be hurting him, you shiver a little at the sight. The other looks at the female it's eyes full of worry, "Are you ok FieldTrotter?" You discover it is a male from his low gruff voice. She nods and he turns back to you, "I am ValleyStrutter an Earth Jeweled Wolf." He inspects you up and down as if trying to find out what you are doing here and what it is that you want. "So I see you have passed BlazeFighter, how is that possible? Because of her our lands were safe from trespassers like yourself." You explain to ValleyStrutter that it was RaccTapper who helped you get pass the vicious fire element wolf. He nods his head and chuckles a little, "Ah, so I see." You raise an eyebrow at the chuckle and ask him why he is laughing. "You were protected by a young female wolf, normally our kind will not stand behind such a young wolf. Especially not a male, we stand up for our selves." You cross your arms over your chest and give the wolf a solemn look of embarrassment. FieldTrotter looks at ValleyStrutter, he stops his chuckling and a stern look is replaced. "You had best be going human, our lands are not as safe as they used to be. There have been rumors of another…" He stops short in his sentence as FieldTrotter barks at him to hurry up. He looks back at her then towards you, he nods and the two take off into the woods. Leaving you to continue wandering.
