In inky darkness like lampblack
Amid a backdrop of clustered, scattered stars
Uniformly blue-white
With a Vega as the centerpiece
Highlighted by fulvous light from nowhere...
Grow chatoyant multihued orchids
In loud fluorescent hues, all colors in and out of the rainbow
Infinite combinations
All in huddled symmetrical astonishing profusion...
All dripping crystalline beads of deadly nectar that seem to implore the unwary to drink
A corsage for a Titan...a tenebrous night-thing that would shriek at the daylight...
Rheumy, pallid eyes assaulted by the abomination
Of blue skies and sunshine.
