An illimitable expanse of alabaster mausoleums
Stretching in all directions
Until perspective reduces them to nothingness—
Under a fuliginous overcast sky
With clear air underneath—
Illuminated brilliantly by numerous lightning bolts
That only rarely shatter the brilliantly shining whited tombs.
