Probitas

Asteroid 902, Probitas, was discovered September 3, 1918 by Johann Palisa at Vienna, Austria. It has a period of 3 years, 303 days.

Probitas (Latin for "probity," that is, adherence to the highest principles and ideals), refers to Palisa, like Perseverantia (Latin for "perseverance") and Hilaritas (Latin for "cheerfulness"), all of which were considered hallmarks of Palisa's character. These names were given by the Austrian astronomer Joseph Rheden in agreement with Palisa's second wife Anna Palisa after Johann Palisa's death.

And this is what seems to be the meaning of asteroid Probitas: probity; also probes and probation.

Kenneth Starr has Probitas in the seventh house, decile Venus (values), semisquare Mars (aggression, energy), quintile Chiron (lessons to teach or learn, need to pay attention), square the Midheaven (career, authority, reputation), and opposite Hidalgo (to assert, to promote).

Bob Woodward (born March 26, 1943 in Geneva, Illinois) has Probitas semisextile Pluto (digging, nefarious doings), trine Venus and Nessus (predation), biquintile Vesta (dedication), and quincunx the Sun (to shine).

St. Bernadette of Lourdes had Probitas sextile Neptune (spirituality, visions) and square Cruithne (marked).

Queen Elizabeth II has Probitas in the second house, conjunct Mercury (speech, writing, thinking) and Heracles (to contend with), decile Juno (public persona), and square Vesta.

Lionel Tate (born January 30, 1987), a Florida teenager who became the youngest person ever sentenced to life imprisonment in US history (for killing a 6-year-old girl he was playing with), was later released on probation; when caught outside at night with some friends, he was almost sent back to jail. He has Probitas semisquare Dioretsa (off course), sesquiquadrate Chiron (self-wounding), opposite Don Quixote (roaming, taking on the system), parallel Uranus (upsets), and contraparallel Nessus and Damocles (crisis, danger, experience of groupthink, politics, drastic change).

The glyph for Probitas is mine.
