Patsy

Asteroid 3310, Patsy, was discovered on October 9, 1931, by Clyde W. Tombaugh (the discoverer of Pluto) at Flagstaff, Arizona. Patsy has a period of 5 years, 80 days. Tombaugh named it after his wife, Patricia "Patsy" Tombaugh (née Edson).

The astrological meaning of asteroid Patsy seems to be what its name suggests.

From Webster's Ninth New Collegiate Dictionary:

patsy ([etymology:] perhaps from Italian pazzo, fool; [first in usage in] 1903): one who is easily manipulated or victimized: sucker.

Con artist turned white-collar-crime consultant Frank Abagnale, whose first mark was his own father, had Ceres conjunct Patsy.

Legendary Texas con artist Billie Sol Estes (born January 10, 1925, in Alanreed, Texas), who once counted President Lyndon Johnson among his friends and who eventually went to prison for using nonexistent storage tanks of anhydrous ammonia fertilizer as collateral for federal agricultural loans, had Jupiter conjunct Patsy.

Marshall Applewhite had Patsy tightly conjunct the Ascendant.

In the chart of Jim Jones, born four days after Applewhite, Patsy semisquared Chiron (the maverick, lessons to teach or learn) and quincunxed Pallas (politics, which People's Temple had some involvement in while in San Francisco).

Luc Jouret, leader of another suicidal cult, the Order of the Solar Temple, had Patsy square Pluto.

And Charles Manson has Patsy semisquare Ixion (inventiveness, lustiness) and quincunx Hidalgo (to promote, to assert).

The glyph for Patsy is mine.
