NOT

Asteroid 2851 NOT was discovered on February 17, 1942, by Finnish astronomer Luisi Oterma at Turku, Finland, and named for the Nordic Optical Telescope on La Palma in the Canary Islands, Santa Cruz de Tenerife province, Spain. It has a period(year) of 3 years and 262 days.

Astrologically, NOT means "not", or possibly "NOT!", depending on the context. It's as simple as that. Whatever NOT touches, the word is, "Not!"

This may be hard to understand sometimes, but mysterious are the ways of God, and Goddess, and sometimes of humanity: NOT's asteroid number adds up to 7, a number of contemplation and intellect, of sacredness, spirituality, mystery and seclusion--by way of 16. While 16-year-olds and other teenagers may "not" say "Not!", they'll say something which conveys that message, maybe "not" directly, if they do "not" take to something. Aspects of the personality in adolescence tend to be emphasized, even exaggerated, which is one reason why relationships of all kinds entered into in youth tend to be unstable. Assertion has a tendency to be a relationship antagonist: If you(1) say "not" often enough in a relationship(6), the other person may go away, and may "not" ever come back.

The glyph for NOT was created by Jonathan Dunn.
