Materials
needed:
The lovely
tube is from Top Design.
Supplies:
here.
Filters:
Eye Candy 3
DSB-Flux
***
Set your
foreground on #579987,
background on
#3D7F6D.
***
1. Open a new
transparent image, size 570x460,
and fill with
the foreground color.
2. Add a new
raster layer and fill with your background color.
3. Effects --
Artistic Effects -- Balls and Bubbles,
transparent
balls as seen below:

4. Effects --
Filter Effects --
DSB Flux --Linear Tranmission,
with these
settings:

5. Reduce the
opacity of this layer to 50%
in your
Layers palette.
Merge
Visible.
6. Open the
lady tube.
Reduce the
size to 460 pixels in height,
Copy and
paste onto the canvas.
Position it
slightly to the left.
Apply the Eye
Candy 3 Drop Shadow
with the
standard settings.
7. Activate
your Rectangle Selection tool
and draw a
shape on the right side of the canvas.
This will
become the gold border ( see my example)
8. Selections
-- Modify --
Contract by 2
pixels ( " outside" must be checked)
9. Add a new
raster layer and fill with gold.
Adjust --
Sharpness -- Sharpen.
Apply the Eye
Candy 3 Drop Shadow.
Deselect (
Ctrl+D).
10. Repeat
steps 7 to 9, but make the rectangle smaller.
11. Merge All
Layers Visible.
12. Draw a
small rectangle on the bottom part of the lady-tube
(make sure
that layer is active :) )
It will
become the squares(little blocks)
It will also
become the background in the script,
as well as
the border, so save it somewhere,
but don't
close it!
Just minimize
it.
Copy and
Paste as a new image.
Add a 2 pixel
white border,
select with
your Magic wand
and fill with
gold.
13. Open a
new transparent canvas, size 150x150.
Paste the
square onto this canvas.
Image --
Rotate -- Free Rotate 45%.
14. Copy and
paste this square onto the bigger canvas.
Place it in
the golden rectangle on the right side.
Add a drop
shadow.
Repeat this
step another 2 times.
Merge All
Layers.
15. Activate
the lady tube again.
Draw a
rectangle with your Selection tool from the
top to the
butterfly.
Copy and
paste as new layer onto the canvas.
16. Layers --
Load/Save Mask -- Load mask from disk:
Find the mask
20-20 and apply to this layer.
Delete the
mask layer in your Layers palette,
and reply "
yes" to the question.
Resize to 50%
Copy and
paste onto the background canvas
and position
at the bottom of the golden rectangle.
17. Open a
new transparent canvas, size 300x100.
Lock the
foreground color, the background on gold.
Add your name
and apply a drop shadow.
18. Image --
Rotate -- a quarter to the right.
Copy and
paste onto your canvas.
Merge Layers
Visible.
19. Add a 1
pixel black border.
Add a 1 pixel
white, select and fill with gold.
Add a 1 pixel
black.
20. Add a 4
pixel white border.
Select with
your Magic Wand.
Change the
foreground color in your Color palette to Pattern.
Find the
square you have made in step 12.
It should be
one of the top patterns in the palette.
Fill the
border with this pattern.
21. Repeat
step 19.
Merge all
layers.
Resize the
image to 580x468 pixels
if you want
to use my script.
The script
requires another two background tiles, as well
as the square
(step 12)you have made.
