Choose a nice image of your own ;-)


FILTERS NEEDED
Filter Alfs Borders FX


Color: #A20EOE - or a color from your tube.



1: New transparent canvas: 500 x 500 pixels.
Fill with white.

2: Copy and paste the 'Mystedflower'- template
as a new layer.

3: Use the Deformation tool to drag it out over the canvas.
Don't worry if it overflows the edges a little.


4: Activate the Selection tool and draw a rectangular selection
at the bottom of the image as seen in the tag example.
Effects - Texture Effects - Texture:Bricks,
with these settings:




This is what you should have now:


Deselect.



5: Add a new layer.
Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load Selection from Disk:
Apply the 'C&I Denise5'- selection.
Fill with your chosen color (or the red of the tutorial)
Effects - 3D Effects - Inner Bevel:



Deselect.
Move it a little to the left.


6: Drag it over the top of the canvas with the
Deformation tool.
Duplicate the layer.
Image - Mirror.


7: Copy and paste your lady tube onto the canvas.
Resize until it fits nicely into the design.

8: Activate the template layer in the Layers palette.
It should be the second layer from the bottom.
Copy and paste the sunflower-tube onto the canvas.
Image - Resize: 90%.


9: Remove the green leaves sticking out above the bricks
with the Eraser tool.
Adjust - Hue and Saturation - Colorize:
Hue 0  /  Saturation 167 (for the tutorial red)

Otherwise you can fill in the Hue and Saturation
 values of your own color choice.
    Click on the color in the Color palette and find
the values in the pop-up window.
Memorise it and proceed with the 'Colorize' - step.
Effects - Edge Effects - Enhance.
Merge all layers.
Minimize this first canvas for now.


10: Open a new transparent canvas, size 570 x 570 pixels.

11: Copy your first canvas
and paste it as a new layer onto the new canvas.
Effects - 3D Effects - Drop shadow:
5 / 5 / 100 / 10 / color black.
Repeat with V & H -5

Layers - Merge - Merge visible.

12: Add a new layer and fill with the color.
Effects - Filter Effects - Alf's Border FX.
Apply with these settings:


Drag your image to the top over this layer.


13: Activate your Magic wand and
select the white edge.
The bottom layer, raster1, should be active :)
Fill the selection with the color #9DBDB.

14: Effects - Texture Effects - Blinds:


Repeat the same inner bevel - effect as before.

Merge all layers.

You're finished! :-)
