A Mother's Dream

MATERIALS NEEDED:

Download the supplies here

You only need a sense of humor for this one :)

Open all the images in PSP

and save it in a folder of your choice as well if you like.

 

Open the background image in PSP as well.

Duplicate the image and close the original.

We will need this right now.

Open the pattern as well.

Let's begin :)

 

1. Open a new transparent canvas, size 550x450px.

Set your foreground to the supplied pattern with the settings on 0, 100.

Fill the canvas with the pattern.

 

2. Open the fantasy tube.

Copy and paste as new layer.

Change the Blend Mode of this layer to

'Luminance(Legacy)'.

Reduce the opacity in your Layers palette to 30%.

 

3.Open the lady tube.

Copy and paste as a new layer.

Position it in the lower right corner.

 

4. Open the tube of the child.

Copy and paste as a new layer.

Layers -- Arrange -- Move Down.

This layer must be below the woman-layer now in the Layers palette.

 

 

5. Open the flower tube.

Go to Image -- Mirror.

Copy and paste onto the canvas.

Position it in the lower left corner of the canvas.

Change the Blend Mode of this layer to

'Luminance(Legacy)'.

 

6. Layers -- Merge -- Merge All.

 

7. Add  a 15px white border.

Select with your Magic Wand and fill with the pattern.

Apply Effects -- 3D Effects -- Drop Shadow,

with these settings: 1,1,100,1.

Repeat the drop shadow but change

both the V & H setting to  -1.

Deselect (Ctrl+D).

 

8. Add  a 30 px  white border.

Select with your Magic Wand

and fill with the pattern again.

 

 

9. Selections -- Invert.

Apply the same drop shadow as in step 7.

 

10. Open the eye tube.

Copy and paste as a new layer.

Position it in the upper left corner of the canvas.

Reduce the opacity of this layer to 30% in your Layers Palette.

 

11. Duplicate eye layer.

Go to Image -- Mirror.

There should be an eye on both the left and right side now.

 

12.Add a nice text of your choise if you like.

 

13. Layers -- Merge -- Merge All.

 

14. Add a 2px black border.

 

15. Reduce the image size to 85%

with the 'Resize All Layers' checked.

 

Your Blend tag is finished :)
