MATERIALS NEEDED:

Xero.
Download the filters here

Please keep the filename

if the tube makers intact

if you want to share the tubes.

 

Open all the images in PSP

Save the brushed in your Brush Folder.

Save the gradient in your Gradient Folder.

 

1. Open a new transparent canvas, size 600x450px.

 

2. Flood fill with the gradient 'winni grad1.1 '

Angle = 45

Repeats = 0.

 

3. Go to Effects -- Filter Effects -- Filters Unlimited --

Paper Texture -- Canvas Fine

with these settings: 23-1.

 

4. Effects -- Edge Effects -- Enhance.

 

 

5. Activate the Brush Tool.

Change your background color to  #562c2d.

Find the 'jailed words2'.

Set the size on 500.

A set of brushes is included in the zip file.

You can choose one that you like. :)

 

 

6. Add a new raster layer.

Aplply the brush in your background color.

 

7. Duplicate this layer 2x.

Drag it over the canvas to cover it completely.

 

8. Lock the bottom layer in the Layers palette.

Merge the other three layers visible.

Reduce the opacity of this layer to  38%.

Unlock the bottom layer.

 

9. Add  a new raster layer.

 

10. Selects -- Select All.

 

11. Open the mask tube.

Copy and paste as a new layer onto the canvas.

Reduce the opacity of this layer to 38%.

 

12. Open the lady tube.

Copy and paste as a new layer onto the canvas.

Position it in the lower left corner.

Reduce the opacity of this layer to 60%.

 

13. Open the watch tube.

Copy and paste as a new layer onto the canvas.

Position it in the lower right corner.

Reduce the opacity of this layer to 40%.

 

14. Lock the bottom layer again in the Layers palette.

Highlight one of the other layers

and merge them visible.

Unlock the bottom layer.

 

15. Highlight (activate) the merged layer.

 

16. Go to Effects -- Filter Effects -- FM Tile Tools -
Blend Emboss with the default settings.

 

17. Merge all layers.

 

18. Selections -- Select All .
Selections -- Modify -- Contract by 10 px.
 

19. Selections -- Modify -- Select Selections Border  3.

 

20. Flood fill the border with a color from the image

or use #767267.

 

21. Selecitons -- Invert.

Go to Effects -- 3D Effects -- Chisel
and apply with these settings: 2, color white.

 

 

22. Deselect ( Ctrl +D).

 

23. Add a 2px white border.

 

24. Effects -- Filter Effects -- Xero -- Porcelain.

Apply with the default settings.

 

25.Reduce the image size to 80%

with 'Resize all Layers' checked.

 

Your blend is finished :)
