First of all, enjoy a very happy and healthy new year.

 

Open all the tubes in psp.

 

1.Open a new canvas, size 600 x 450px.

Fill with white.

 

2. Apply Effects -- Filter Effects -- Filters Unlimited --

Paper Backgrounds -- Canvas White Fine - standard.

 

3. Selections -- Select All.

Selections -- Modify -- Contract by 10px.

 

4. Selections -- Invert.

 

5. Apply Effects -- Filter Effects -- Graphic Plus --

Cross Shadow -standard.

 

6.Selections -- Invert.

 

7.Effects -- 3D Effects -- Chisel : 2px , transparent.

Keep selected.

 

8. Add a new raster layer.

 

9. Open the 'Newyear04'- tube.

Copy and paste into the selection.

Change the opacity to 20% in the Layers palette.

Blende Mode on 'Luminance(legacy)'.

Deselect (Ctrl +D)

 

10. Open the 'newyear03'- tube.

Copy and paste as new layer.

Drag it to the bottom right.

Change the opacity of this layer to 65% ( Layers palette)

 

 

11. Open the 'newyear01'-tube.

Copy and paste as new layer.

Position it to the left against the edge ( see example tag)

 

12. Merge all layers.

 

13. Effects -- Filter Effects -- Xero -- Porcelain - standard.

14. Duplicate this layer.

 

15. Effects -- Filter Effects -- CollorRave -- Atmospherizer.

Apply with these settings:

 

16. Effects -- Filter Effects -- FM Tile Tools -- Blend Emboss.

 

17. Change the opacity of this layer now to between 20 - 30%.

 

18. Adjust -- Photo Fix --

Digitial Camera Noise Removal - standard settings.

 

19. Add your new year's text at the bottom.

 

20. Apply Effects -- Filter Effects -- ColorRave,

with the same settings as before.

 

21. Merge all layers.

Resize image to 85% with

"Resize All Layers" checked.

 

The Xero - Porcelain filter can also be applied now

if you want to, but it's not necessary. :)
