Ghost Ship

MATERIALS NEEDED:

Open all the tubes in PSP.

 

We're ready to begin ;-)

 

 

1.Open a new transparent canvas, size 550 x 550px.

Fill with the color cdc0b0.

 

2. Effects -- Filter Effects -- Texture -- Sandstone,

Apply with the settings 89%, 2 and 'top'.

 

3. Open the'monique 965'- tube.

Copy and paste as a new layer onto the canvas.

Position it at the bottom left.

Change the Blend Mode of this layer to 'Luminance(Legacy)'

in your Layers palette.

 

 

4. Open the tube of the ship.

Copy and paste as a new layer onto the canvas.

Change the Blende mode of this layer to 'Luminance(Legacy)' as well.

Position it nicely in the center of the canvas.

Drag it a bit up so that the mast slightly touches the top.

 

 

5.Open the tube of the waterfall.

Copy and paste as a new layer onto the canvas.

Change the Blend Mode of this layer to 'Luminance(Legacy)'as well.

Position it with your Mover tool in the bottom right corner.

Make sure everything forms a nice unity now.

 

 

6. Merge all layers.

 

7. Effects -- Filter Effects -- FM Tile Tools -- Blend Emboss - standard.

 

8. Resize image to 85%.

Make sure 'Resize All Layers ' is checked.

 

9. Add a 5px border in this color: #4e4233.

 

10.Open the bird tube.

Copy and paste as a new layer onto the canvas.

You can decide if you want it at the top right or top left

of the canvas.

Change the Blend Mode again to 'Luminance(Legacy)'.

Change the opacity of this layer to 70%

in your Layers palette.

 

11. Add your watermark.

Merge all layers.

 

 

12.Effects -- Filter Effects -- Namesuppressed -- Softener.

Apply with these settings:

 

You are most welcome to email

Sarah if you can't find the filter elsewhere.

 

Alternatively you can go to

Adjust -- Photo Fix -- Digital Camera Noise Removal.

 

Your blend is finished.

You are welcome to use other color

to gain different results.
