MATERIALS NEEDED

FILTERS NEEDED:

Flaming Pear's  - Kyoto ( free filter of Flaming Pear)

Filters Unlimited

Xero

FM Tile Tools

The images in the zip was tubed by Sarah.

Please keep her filename intact when sharing these tubes.

 

Open all the images in PSP.

Save the brush in your Brushes folder.

It's easier accessible when you import it into PSP.

Save the frame in your PSP Frame folder.

TIP: Remember to save often !! :)

 

Okay's let us begin.

This is a long tutorial. lol.

 

 

1.Open a new transparent canvas, size 600 x 450.

Fill it with this color:  #572126.

 

2. Go to Effects -- Texture Effects -- Fine Leather

and apply with these settings:

 

3.Open the 'kind met opa.pspimage' tube.

Copy and paste as a new layer onto the canvas.

Position is more or less 1 cm away from the edge.

 

 

4. Open the 'stoel.pspimage'(chair) image.

Copy and paste as a new layer onto the canvas.

Drag it a bit to the left.

Change the opacity of this layer to 45% in your Layers palette.

 

 

5.Open the violin tube.

Copy and paste as a new layer onto the canvas.

Position it to look as though the violin rest against the chair.

Don't worry of you can't see the tube so clearly now.

 

 

6. Lock the bottom layer in the Layers palette.

Activate one of the other layers.

Merge visible.

 

7. Go to Effects -- Filter Effects -- FM Tile Tools -- Blend Emboss

and apply with the standard settings.

 

8. Unlock the bottom layer.

Merge all layers visible.

 

9. Go to Effects -- Filter Effects -- Filters Unlimited --

Edges Square -- Square Edges 2 and apply.

 

10. Go to Effects -- 3D Effects -- Drop Shadow.

Apply with these settings:  -6,-6,60,20 colour = black.

Repeat the drop shadow, but change both the V & H setting to 6.

 

11. Add a new raster layer.

Go to Layers -- Arrange -- Move Down.

 

12. Make sure the top layer is active ( highlighted in blue)

in your Layers palette.

 

13. Go to Effects -- Filter Effects -- Flaming Pear ---Kyoto Color.

Apply with these settings:

 

14. Effects -- Filter Effects -- Xero -- Porcelain.

Apply with the standard settings.

 

15. Select ( highlight in blue) the bottom layer now in the Layers palette.

Fill with a color from your canvas.

The color  #9d9f8a was used in the example above.

 

16. Merge all layers.

 

17. Go to Image -- Picture Frames -- Window card 04,

and apply with these settings:

 

18. Select the picture frame ( marching ants around it).

 

19.Effects -- Filter Effects -- Filters Unlimited --

Paper Textures-Canvas Fine --

with the 2 top slidebars on 100.

 

20. Merge all layers.

 

21. Add a 1px border.

 

22. Add a new raster layer.

 

23. Activate your Brush tool

and find the  Sarah33 brush.

Apply it once in the cadre of the frame

as seen in the tag example above.

Change the opacity of this layer to 70% in your Layers palette.

 

 

24. Apply  a drop shadow with these settings:

1,1,100,1 color = black.

 

25. Add a new raster layer.

 

26. Activate your Brush Tool again

and find the  bruche op 82.

Apply it (perhaps 2 or 3 times )to the right side of the text.

 

 

27. Duplicate this layer in the Layers palette.

Go to Image -- Mirror.

Place it between the flower and the text.

 

28. Merge all layers.

 

29. Reduce the size of the image to 75% and make sure

'Resize All Layers' is checked.

 

30. Effects -- Filter Effects -- Xero -- Porcelain -

with the top slidebar on 0.
