CHANGE OUTLOOK EXPRESS - SETTINGS

Open a new email message in Outlook Express.
On the top toolbar - go to Format
and change to 'Rich Text Format ( HTML)
as seen below:

Go to 'View' and check the 'Source Edit' option.

At the bottom of the email you will see
this options now:

You can leave your settings like this now
if you want to send scripted emails in the future.
Remember, when you want to send only a regular email
with no HTML code or a script, you can just change the format
of the email back to 'Plain Text'.

Download an empty script.
The link is at the bottom of each tutorial as seen below:

An HTML page will open with the empty script (no image in it)
It opens as an ordinary web - HTML page in Internet Exporer.

In Internet Explorer,
Click on 'View' - and then 'Source'.

A Notepad document will open with the code for the script.
Go to:
Edit - Select All.
Edit - Copy.

Open a new email in Outlook Express in Richt Text Format as described above.

At the bottom of the email: click on 'Source'.

Highlight all the code in there and delete it.

Paste the code that you have copied from the Notepad-page
into this email source page.

Click on 'Preview'at the bottom of the email and
you will see the script now without the image :)

Click on 'Source' again so that you can edit it now.

Open the file where you have saved your
images made from the tutorial.
Right-click on it and choose the
'Copy Path To Clipboard' - option.

Open the email again in the 'Source'- option
and find the text 'IMG src="Zet hier je plaatje" align'
Highlight the words 'Zet hier je plaatje'

Remove ONLY the text between the quotation marks!!
If you remove the quotation marks as well the script won't work
GUARENTEED! :-))

Note from Maggie: I have tried to indicate below where the different bgtiles
and music must be filled in
This way you fill in all the tiles and images you had
to make for the scripts:

It is always safe to make additional background tiles for in case a script
requires them. You can also add some music.

You can now click on 'View' at the bottom of your email to see
your changes.

Now you can click on 'Edit' to write your email.
Double -click in the box where the text 'Hallo' is written.
This is where you write your text.

Your mail can only be sent if you are in the 'Edit' -option.

Have fun with the scripts !!!!

*****
Note from Maggie: make sure the person that you intend to send the email to
will be okay with big files since some of the email scripts available on the internet  can be really HUMONGOUSLY HUGE files!!
