You walk up to the door marked Salamar's Room and knock. The door swings in on itself revealing a tunnel leading down.  Since you're in an adventurous mood, you head down.  At the bottom you see a stream of molten lava flowing on the right side.  On the left is a crystal clear stream.  Near the lava is a dragon that you've never seen before. It appears to be made out of fire. You step closer and it looks up at you. A young man enters the cavern and sees you. He smiles. You look nervous, the dragon is staring at you. The man laughs. "Don't tell me your scared of Merek? He's harmless." The dragon makes a dignified noise in it's throat and glares at the man. "I'm Salamar," the man continues, "And Merek's all glare."

The dragon appears hurt, he hangs his head and turns around. "Oh, c'mere Merek, you know I'm kidding." The dragon smiles and walks over to the man to be embraced. The man winks and mouths to you 'Big Baby'. You smile.

The dragon, either not noticing or not caring about what Salamar mouthed, goes back to the lava flow. He lays down beside it and looks at his reflection in the burning rock.

"Merek can't be full grown, is he?" You ask. Althought the creature is big, it's not as big as the other dragons you've seen, but then again, Merek isn't like any of the other dragons you've seen.

Salamar shakes his head. "Merek is only a teen, he gets bigger." You inquisitively raise your eyebrows, still curious. Salamar smiles. "He's a Meletanian from Meletania. I'm not amazingly well versed on the subject of Meletanians, but I don't think he'll get all that much bigger."

The dragon appears to have dosed off and Salamar smiles. "If only he'd been this calm as a hatchling."

You smile remembering the number of broken plates when Merek was a hatchling. "He's still beautiful."

Salamar smiles. "I know. The most beautiful dragon I've ever seen. Even Magika is amazed by him." The dragon yawns and rolls over. You and Salamar share a quiet smile. You decide you better go, you wouldn't want to wake Merek up.
