Going to such a large high school he had many choices but gravitated toward sciences and medical. When he graduated high school he went to Harvard to become an Emergency Room doctor, which were very much in need in Chicago at that time. His ten years of schooling taught him much and that he had a very strong will to help people. He started his internship at Mercy General Hospital in ’84 and went on to be the best doctor in the Emergency Room in all Chicago.
He married in ’89 and soon after had two children one right after the other. He did everything that he could fro his children. He put then in the best schools and had them take musical lessons. But tragedy struck their happy lives when a drunk driver hit his car with his daughter in the back seat. He rushed her to the E.R. but she died of internal injuries before she made it up to the O.R.
His wife blamed him because the Drunk had killed himself in the accident and she felt that she had no one else to blame. She filed for a divorce four months later and took their ten-year-old son with her.
Hart threw him self into his work caring for his patents more than the other resident doctors thought was necessary. Occasionally he would fly out to Hawaii to see his son but not as often as he would have liked.
A year later he received a phone call from a Mr. Jean-Michaels asking him to come and work for him. Hart refused saying that the Hospital needed him. Mr. Michaels talked him into coming to work for him saying that the hospital would receive a very generous donation along with more money that could only be used for the E.R. Hart left after his two-week notice and flew to Miami.
