When she got into high school she realized that she had an intense fascination and knack for picking up languages. She took all the foreign language classes that she could, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Greek, Latin and took extra credit for learning the Aboriginal language.
She went off to college sharing the honour of being Valedictorian with her twin brother Roy. She majored in the Science of Language and became a sought after Linguist before she was even out of college.
At one point, soon after college, her high school beau asked her to marry him and she seriously considered it but refused fearing that it would interfere with her work and force her to give it up. Since breaking it off with her long-time beau, she didn’t seriously date anyone, not really caring to settle down.
Two years after completing college she got a call from a mysterious Mr. Jean-Michaels saying that he needed a linguist and that he would pay her well. She took the job after consulting with the job offer she had waiting for her. Payments started immediately until the day she was to leave for Miami, Florida and the payment she received upon boarding the helicopter was twice as much as the previous payments. She was also surprised to learn upon boarding that her brother was also working for Mr. Michaels.
