Spike - the main character of this show. He is a bounty hunter and really good fighter. He has a life long conflict with Vicious, the main bad guy, because they were both in the same criminal organization and Spike left when he wasn't allowed. His girlfriend is Julia who left him when he left the organization.
Jet - ex ISSP (or police force). He now owns the Bebop (ship) and is partners with Spike.
Faye - A woman who was in a serious accident in the year 2017 and was cryogenically frozen and then unfrozen in the time the show takes place 54 years later. She completely lost her memory and is in a lot of debt. Loves to gamble and bet on horses.
Ed - an orphan left on Earth because her father went mapping were the meteors fall. She is a computer genius and very very strange.
Ein - a "data dog." He was geneticly altered and is now incredibly smart.
Julia - Spike's old girlfriend who is part of the organization and is trying to get out and meet up with Spike one last time.
Vicous - the main bad guy. He has a heart of stone and cares for no one. He's an incredibly skilled fighter and uses a sword, not a gun.
