The St. Valentine's Day Massacre, February 14, 1929
Police re-enactment of the Massacre
On Monday, September 13, 2004 down & dirty gangster experts Rick Mattix and Mario Gomes had the honor and pleasure to visit the armory of the Berrien County Sheriff's Office at St. Joseph, Michigan where {in the grand tradition of Frankenstein Meets the Wolfman} they came face-to-face with Fred "Killer" Burke's Thompson submachine guns. The very weapons linked to the St. Valentine's Day Massacre by pioneer ballistics expert Calvin Goddard after their recovery from Burke's St. Joe hideout in December 1929!
