Camp Fleishman is located several miles north of Chester, CA. Boy Scout Troops come from near and far to camp here throughout the summer months. We have never visited the camp during the winter. We never had a way to get there until we discovered the ATVs. Following packed snow trails created by snow mobiles makes the trip fun and easy. Easy up until the final mile to the camp, where there were no packed snow mobile trails. The longer we were out, the softer the snow became. Even on the return trip, snow that was hard packed that morning was now soft and slushy. |
