In the week of April 21, 2003. Vandals came into the cemetery and destroyed the monument at the Welcome Center. The monument was found days later at another location in Madison Co. Damage to the monument is unrepairable. The cemetery association has put up $500 for the arrest and conviction of person/persons who did this crime. Funds are needed to replace the defaced monument!
