My Opinion On the Halloween Movies
The Halloween Movies are my favorite series of movies of all time. The main reason I love HalloweeN so much is because of one reason, and one reason only... MICHAEL MYERS. That man has scared me ever since I was a little kid. His pale, expressionless face makes him incredibly unpredictable. Here is a list of opinions, starting with HalloweeN 1:
HalloweeN * * * * *
Scariest one of them all. It is definitley the best. The only thing I never liked about it is how they took forever to kill Annie. I couldn't stand her the least bit. Her whiny voice made me want to jump in the movie and kill her myself.
HalloweeN II * * * *1/2
This one was very entertaining. I liked how it just killed people, right after one another, never stopping. Most horror movies have a big death at the beginning, then a long break before the next victim. This one doesn't give you a break!
HalloweeN III *
Hated it!! It was so incredibly boring, it's not even funny. I think it would have been a good horror movie if it wasn't a Halloween movie. Halloween movies have a certain standard to live up to, whether it be bad or good. But this just seemed like a bump in the road for the series.
Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers * * *
I liked it. I thought it was a pretty nice way to make up for Halloween III. My favorite part is at the end. If you've seen it, you know what I mean.
Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers * * 1/2
Some people trash this movie worse than Halloween III, but I thought it was pretty good. Hey, it has Michael, so you can't complain. I think they could've taken the Jamie plot to a better direction, though.
Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers * * 1/2
I did not like this one very much. They confused us even more about Michael's evil (The Thorn? What the hell!?). 2nd of all, they made the music sound like Michael was a heavy metal star. Ahh!
Halloween H20: 20 Years Later * * * 1/2
I really enjoyed this one. A lot of people say it is a copy of Scream. Scream is a copy of HalloweeN! Hello, HalloweeN came out first (1978). Anyways, Jamie Lee makes an awesome return . . . one of my favorites.
Halloween Resurrection * * * *
It turns out Rick really knows how to make a good Halloween movie. I won't reveal to much of the movie till it leaves the theaters.
