Willow was waiting outside of the science lab when Buffy emerged. She had waited for 15 years for someone like Buffy to come along and open up her eye to the world around her. She had never known that when she met Buffy that it would change her entire life. For better or for worse she had become friends with the slayer.

Buffy and Willow walked down the hallway toward the library. Neither said a word. Knowing what the other was thinking. They knew without a doubt that they were in love with each other. They knew this and a word did not even have to be spoken. Willow slowly laced her fingers through Buffy's a they entered the library.

They slowly entered the library savoring the feeling of touching without really admiting anything. They knew that this may be how it was right now but they knew that after today, after this moment that nothing would ever be the same again.

Giles entered the library not long after the girls and not saying anything to them because he knew that there was something happening that he knew would change the course of everything to come. Everything that had been destined to happen would no longer be destined. The girls standing in front of him were changing the future that very second.

At the very moment that Willow had decided to speak Buffy also did. They both said the simplest thing that could be said but also the one thing that could hurt them the most too. 'I'm in love with you.' When Willow heard Buffy say the exact same thing that she said to her she wrapped her arms around Buffy's neck and kissed her. She kissed her with every ounce of her being. Willow was now givig herself to Buffy. She gave her her destiny.
