'Buffy, what are you doing here?' A shy redhead girl appropriately named Willow said when seeing her best friend Buffy Summers sneak into her room.

'Why Willow, you should have known by now that I would need a goodnight kiss after patrol.' the bouncy blond said.

'Is that the only reason you dropped by at two o'clock in the morning?' Willow asked.

'No, I wanted to seduce you but a kiss is all I can get then I can live with that.' Buffy said while kissing Willow.

'Well since my parents are home we cant do more because you cant be quiet. If you could then we would have no problem.' Willow said with an evil looking her eyes.

'Well if you weren't so wild I wouldn't be loud.' Buffy replied while kissing Willow again. 'I could always just stay the night with you and we could cuddle.'

'Okay, you can stay but you have to sleep on the top of the cover and no roaming hands. Got it.' Willow told Buffy with a mischievous look in her eye.

Buffy and Willow had discovered very recently that they were both in love with each other. Buffy had always dated guys or more appropriately had dated Angel in an on again and off again. He had helped fight right along with Buffy and the Scooby gang to protect this very unruly town that sat atop of the hellmouth. Until the end of Buffy?s junior year when she had to send him to hell.

'Will, I have some good news.. I got back into school.' Buffy told Willow.

'Buffy your back in that's great. How did Snyder take it?' Willow said as she and Buffy laid in bed.

'Yep, Mom managed to get me in. That snot nosed man should never have been made principal in the first place, but mom took it to the school board and they said that I'm back. Aren't you happy?' Buffy said.

'I'm ecstatic now I'll get to see you more often.' Willow said pulling Buffy closer.

'Well its not all it's cracked up to be you know. I have to take some makeup tests, do some extra curricular work, and stay out of trouble.' Buffy said not wanting to enthused when really she was ecstatic. She was finally going to be back at school with her friends.

'Buffy, you know that's great. Now I won't have to sneak off at lunch time to see you.' Willow said cheerfully.

'Nope, Willow you still have to sneak off but I'll be in close pursuit behind you.' Buffy said giving Willow a kiss. 'Now go to sleep. We have to get up early.'

They awoke the next morning to Willows mom knocking on the door. She did give Willow a chance to scoot away from Buffy.

'Come in Mom.' Willow called out sitting up.

'Morning Willow. Did you sleep well?' She asked sweeping into the room obviously not noticing Buffy on the bed next to Willow.

'Morning Mrs. Rosenburg,' Buffy said groggily.

'Oh, morning Buffy. Willow why didn't you tell me that you had company. I would have let yall sleep later.' Willows mom said.

'I hadn't planned on staying the night it was just to late to walk home.' Buffy replied before Willow could.

'Oh. Okay. Breakfast will be ready in a few minutes.' Mrs. Rosenburg said breezing out the door.

'I guess that means that we need to get up and get dressed. We don't want to be late for breakfast.' Buffy told Willow while leaning over to give her a light peck on the mouth.

'Buffy stop. Your Mom knows mine doesn't so lets not do anything to give her any hint. Okay.' Willow told Buffy. 'We can always spend the night at your house tonight.'

'Yes, we can. Now get dressed before we clue your mom in.' Buffy said moving off the bed.

After they had dressed and eaten breakfast Buffy and Willow headed for the library at school even though it was a Saturday. Buffy's watcher worked at the high school as a librarian so that's where you tend to find them at no matter what.

'Giles are you here?' Buffy and Willow said in unison as they walked through the door hand in hand. Giles already knew there little secret. He had found out one day when they were in the stacks making out and Giles walked in in the middle of the little session. They had been told to research but that didn't get very far for them because every second they could get alone they were making out no matter what or where. He had sent them home and then the next day he had sat them down and told them that he realized that they loved each other and that he was happy for them. Just as Buffy leaned over to kiss Willow, Giles appeared from the stacks saying, 'I'm in the stacks researching just like the two of you are supposed to be doing.'

Willow started to blush at the thought of Giles seeing them kiss. He may know their secret but she still wasn't ready for him to 'know' their secret.

'Well be right there Giles.' Willow yelled up to him to let him know that they did actually plan on getting something done today.

After several hours of research they had found the new demon that had reportedly come to town. The rest of the Scooby gang had arrived not long after the girls.

'So Buff, you ready to go kick some demon ass?' Xander asked nonchalantly.

'Nope, I'm going to the Bronze.' Buffy answered.

Xander and the rest of the Scooby gang didn't know about Willow and Buffy's relationship. They still thought that they were just good friends.

'Well I guess we better go if were going to get to the Bronze before all the good tables are taken.' Willow said pulling Buffy out the door.

After being at the Bronze for hours Buffy and Willow decided that it was time to head home and said goodbye to everyone.

On the walk home the girls decided to go for a quick sweep of the cemetery's since they were on the way to Buffy's house.

'I think we should tell my parents tomorrow.' Willow said as soon as they got into the cemetery.

'Are you sure? You know that we can wait. We don't have to do it until your comfortable.' Buffy replied.

'I want to tell them and then I want to tell Xander and Cordy. I want everyone to know.' Willow said.

'Okay Will. Well tell them tomorrow but lets go home for now.' Buffy said taking Willow into her arms and kissing her before leading her out of the cemetery.

After a short walk and no encounters with any 'creatures of the night' Buffy and Willow arrived safely at the Summer's house.

'Mom, were here!' Buffy yelled up the stairs to let her mom know that they had arrived home safely.

'Buffy, you know that that's not very polite for you to yell at someone. You should have walked upstairs and told her.' Willow told Buffy with her resolve face on.

'You want me to show you someone yelling? I'll make you yell as loud as you can.' And with that Buffy promptly carried Willow upstairs to her room. Buffy showed Willow why she shouldn't tell her not to do something because in the Willow would end up doing it.

Buffy and Willow awoke late the next morning and had breakfast at the Summer's house before heading to the Rosenberg residence.

'Mom, Dad, are yall here?' Willow asked walking in the door. This was supposed to be one of the rare weeks that her parents were actually home from one of their many teaching experiences.

'Yes, Honey. We're in the kitchen.' Mrs. Rosenberg replied.

'Well Mom. Buffy and I need to talk to you and Dad. Can we go sit in the living room.' Willow asked trying not to show just how nervous she was.

Buffy started out the conversation. 'Mr. And Mrs. Rosenberg I know that you don't really approve of me being friends with your daughter but there is something that we would like to tell you. Willow do you want to be the one to tell them or do you want me to.' Buffy asked taking Willows hand.

'I want to be the one. Mom. Dad. Buffy and I are involved. I'm a lesbian. I've know for years but I never thought I would actually act on it. I thought that it would go away. Then Buffy finally told me how she felt about me and I realized that I felt the same way about her. We've been together for over 2 months.' Willow said very fast.

'Willow, your father and I figured that out years ago. Of course we also thought that you would never do anything about it but now that you have I know that I'm not sure what I'm supposed to say to appear the supportive parent. I do love you Willow but I don't approve so don't think that I do but I'll always love you no matter who you choose to love.' Willow's mom said standing up to hug her daughter.

'Willow, I agree completely with your mother.' He said promptly hugging Willow.

'Well Buff I guess that means that we just have the Scooby gang left to tell.' Willow said dragging Buffy from the house. 'I'll be home later. Love ya'll.'

About 45 minutes in the library.

'Well, Xander what do you have to say.' Willow asked Xander. They had already gotten approval from the rest of the Scooby Gang and Xander was the last one that they needed..

'Well, Will what would you like me to say. Hey my best friend that was in-love with me for ages is suddenly in-love with the one of my best friends that I was in-love with. I don't know Will just give me some time okay.' Xander said taking Cordy by the hand and leading her out of the library.
