Coming Home Because it's been a long trip and he needs to sleep in his own bed. By Lumien |

The plane landed at home without incident. Howie was grateful for that. He had been so tired, that he had slept the entire trip from Sweden, including all of the connecting flights. It was good to wake and see the beginnings of bleeding sunset through the Orlando sky. Security had hustled them all through the airport and into waiting vans, sans their luggage. Howie had stopped, signed a few autographs as the other guys met up with family and lovers. He had scoured the crowd, but there was no sign of her anywhere. Sure, they had talked every day and it seemed like she would be here, but she wasn't. Maybe it wasn't meant to be. He had met her just before the trip to record in Sweden and had only made love to her once. A warm smile melted across his full lips, well it had been one night, but it had been more than once during that night. Nick slapped him on the back and they all jumped into waiting vans, speeding into Orlando airport traffic and then on to the studio where he would catch a ride home. |
"Hey, Howie!" AJ hollered down the hall from the front door. Howie waited for the can of soda he purchased to drop from the machine before he answered. "What? AJ?" he laughed. "I thought you left like 5 minutes ago?!" he said, popping the can. AJ ran down the hall and stood real close to him, violating his space. He breathed in Howie's ear, "I think she's here, buddy." AJ stood back and smiled. "Really?" Howie breathed. "There is a limo outside with a driver. He's holding up your name. Put this down!" AJ said, yanking the can out of his hand. AJ grabbed Howie's carry on and ran back up the hallway with Howie in quick pursuit. All the guys were still in the parking lot, watching Howie approach the driver. "Uh, I'm Howie Dorough." He said in answer to the driver's sign. The driver turned without a word and opened the door to the dark compartment. He thought he saw some movement so he peered in closer until all he could see was a gentle silhouette of crossed legs. "Welcome home, honey." A sweet voice purred to him. The driver took Howie's bag and closed the door behind him as he climbed in and took a seat. "Karen?" Howie asked. "Of course. Do you like it?" she giggled, leaning into the light until he could see her glowing green eyes. "I know you've seen a million of these, but I've never done it before. I thought it would be fun." He heard the same quick light New York accent in her hurried speech he had listened to on the phone for weeks. His pulse quickened because she was so near. "Oh, no this is great." He smiled; trying to appear relaxed as he stretched out on the leather seat next to her. He flinched when her hand touched his tee-shirted chest. She quickly withdrew her hand, but he caught it in between both of his. "Are you okay with this?" she asked him. His answer was his lips on her sensitive palm. He knew he had the proper response when she purred his name quickly after that. "I know we've been talking and I wanted to see you and I thought this might be fun, but if you're too tired and…I've intruded, haven't I?" "Sh, sh, sh." He giggled, putting a dark finger to her rosy lips. "It's exactly what I want. You're exactly what I want." The driver had put Howie's bag in the trunk and was heading to the address she had provided him. He was pulling into traffic as Howie turned in his seat, steadily running his hand up her thigh and under her skirt. Karen giggled nervously and stopped his hand's travel. He sat up, leaned toward her to encourage a kiss, but she could only turn her face away and look over at the driver. Howie smiled devilishly and reached for the control panel, letting the privacy panel close on the driver's view. "Better?" he asked, his hand continuing its pursuit of her leg. When his hand found nothing but bare skin on her rear he chuckled. "You little kitten you." He teased. She smiled and shrugged, knowing that she had arrived for him without any panties on. He reached to the front with both of his hand and slowly opened her to him without even touching her intimate center. His eyes met hers and then they coursed down her body to where his hands sat on her thighs, waiting for orders from his brain. His thumbs moved closer and Karen closed her eyes in anticipation. She nearly screamed when she felt his lips on the inside of one of those legs, her hand flying to the top of his head. "You enjoyed this so much last time." He murmured to her. "Howie, I can't right here…" she whispered. He didn't stand for her protest, simply pulling her hips lower on the seat and lifting her skirt. "Untie my hair." He ordered softly and as her hand fidgeted with the tie at his ponytail, he dipped his head down into her lap and smoothed his tongue over her moisture ridden core. Karen fingers dove into his mad curls, causing them to cascade over her thighs as well. Her legs fell open to his ministering as one of her hands flew to her mouth to cover her cries of pleasure. "Howie…" she moaned. "Oh my god, baby. Ohmygod, ohmygod." Her hand-covered mouth could not contain the scream that escaped her at the moment of ecstasy. Her legs slipped easily over his shoulders as he carried her into her orgasm. They soon began to feel like rubber as she calmed and opened her eyes. He sat up and began to undo his own pants. She could see even in the dim light where he was straining to escape them. He slipped his slender hips between her opened legs; his pants loose about his knees. He took her into his arms, never entering her without asking. "I love to hear you cum, baby. I've wanted you in my arms for so long…" he murmured, looking to peer into her eyes. "I can't wait much longer. All I can think about was our first night together. Oh my god, Karen, let me make love to you right here, right now." "Yes, please, ohgodplease." She moaned. His entry was hurried, but oh so gentle that as he touched her she felt all of her fear and anxiety of meeting him tonight disappear. He pulled her close as he began his gentle strokes. "I know it's been so long, but you were all I could think about while I was gone. Oh, god, you're like silk." He moaned, levering himself up as he pressed her into the leather seats increasing the length and depth of his strokes. His change of position allowed him a quick glance out the back window to see the driver opening the trunk and pulling out his bag. They were at his condo. "Oh shit." "What?" Karen asked, looking out his view. "Oh god!" she laughed, wiggling out from under him. "Howie, get your pants on!" "I'm trying." He started laughing. Howie had flipped on his back and tried to separate his boxers from his slack, but they got tangled. Karen got her hands down his pants between his knees and helped him pull them up, tucking his erection down neatly. She sat back in the seat across from him as he fastened up his pants and threaded his belt. The back door opened to a slouched Howie and Karen, trying to keep themselves covered up. Karen got out first and for the first time, Howie saw the silk sundress of a silky black she had on and realized she was barefoot as well. The driver followed them up the stairs with Howie's bag as Howie held Karen's hand. He pulled out his wallet, tipped the driver on the doorstep and the driver turned to go. He laughed quietly as he reached for his apartment keys. Karen trapped his hand as it dug around in his pocket and he lifted her eyes to him. He looked down the stairs to see the limo pull away, then quickly pressed himself into her, slipping his hand to her bare cheeks under the skirt of this incredible dress. "I don't think I've kissed you properly." He smiled, bringing his lips to gently touch hers. "But I think I'll wait until we're inside." He pulled his key out and opened the door. He was holding her hand as he led her in, dropping his bag by the front door after he closed it. Karen passed in front of him and he reached for the zipper tab of the dress, but then he realized there weren't any.Down the back, where silk covered buttons, between each a peek of the flesh on her back. "This is a beautiful dress." He smiled in the dark condo. "Thank you." She smiled herself. "You wore this the night we met." "I stopped to buy a few groceries on my way home from a office party…" she said, turning back to him and taking his hands. "Love in the frozen food section." He murmured. "Did you really mean that?" she asked quietly. "I meant it when I said it last time we made love, I meant it during every phone call and I mean it now." He said, slipping his arms around her and holding her to him. "I remember you saying something like that, too…" "I meant it, I swear, Howie. I meant every word I ever said…"she said. "I don't think you believe me, do you?" "No, I do!" she protested gently. "I think I may have to prove it to you." He whispered against her lips. "Stay Karen. Stay and let me make love to you like I have dreamed…." His words became silent as they melted into her lips. Nothing could erase the feel of his lips from Karen's memory, for she had never felt anything like it before. Their warm and sensual feel entranced her and drew her into his power where he had complete control. She had no will against his and she knew it. She could only pray that he would pull her back from the brink before she was lost forever. His finger deftly removed each of her buttons as through from memory. The entire dress settled into a silken pool at her feet and she stood naked before him. He walked around her, inspecting her from every angle. His hot breath finally coursed over the delicate skin of her left ear, "Go into the bedroom, but don't turn on the lights. Do you remember the way?" She could only nod. She could feel his eyes following her as she padded her way down the long hallway into his dark bedroom. The feel of the cool silk sheets brought back floods of memories of how she had melted in his arms, how he breathed her name and how his slender hips slipped between her legs and she shared her most intimate self with him. A man she had met just an hour before. A man she knew was Howie D. of the Backstreet Boys. A man she let seduce her until the world she had once known without him faded into obscurity. The moonlight trickling through the sheers warmed her skin as Howie stood in the doorway with the champagne glasses, bottle and strawberries. She was in deep reflection, her knees drawn up and her arms wrapped around them as she sat in the middle of his bed. Her face was turned toward the full moon that was stealing glimpses of her. Her pixie cut brown hair was tussled by his earlier passions, giving her an innocent look that had captured him the night he first saw her under the harsh florescent lights of a grocery store. She had been holding her arms, leaning into the open case of frozen food, no doubt cold and trying to decide what to buy. Motion, gravity, and fate had all propelled him to her side; slipping his sports coat around her shoulders and having her bright eyes capture his dark ones. She turned back toward him, but he couldn't see the smile splayed across her lips. "For me?" she asked. "For us." He said, moving toward the bed. He handed her a glass and she held it to be filled. He filled his own after hers. "To us. Howie and Karen." "Howie and Karen." She agreed, touching her glass to his. He handed her his glass and slipped from the bed. She watched in the moonlight as he removed his clothing for her. It felt so right and natural, as thought they had done this a hundred times before, not just once. "Enjoying the show?" He joked, sounding quite nervous. "Are you?" she teased. "You are so incrediably beautiful tonight…" he sighed. "So are you. Come here, what else did you bring?" She said, patting the bed next to her. He got onto the bed and took his glass back from her. He lifted a strawberry from the bowl and dipped it into his glass, slowly bringing it to her lips. She took it in two bites, allowing his fingers into her mouth as he fed her the last bit. "These are so fresh." She sighed, "How did you ever find them?" "I had them shipped in. I was hoping you'd be here tonight…" "Good thing, I was, huh?" "Very good thing." He said, leaning toward her for another kiss. "I can't do this." He groaned. "Do what?" she asked with concern. "All this…" he said, taking her glass and putting them on the bed stand. He removed the strawberries as well, crawling up on the bed and over her until she was pressed under him. "I can't waste this kind of time anymore. Say 'yes', Karen." "Yes." She whispered. Karen felt him press his knee, trying to slip between her legs. A groaned rumbled through his entire body as she let him slip his slender hips between her legs. "Heaven, baby, you're heaven." He moaned, touched her at her entrance with his own flesh. "Say 'yes' to all of it." He whispered hoarsely. "You know how much I love you?" "Yes." She hissed, then gasped as he entered her painfully slow. "You love me, too?" he groaned, feeling her close around him. "Yes, Howie, Yes." She moaned, tipping her head back exposing her tender throat to him. Howie struggled to control himself, but found he no longer had the will to. He surged forward with such urgency that her hands flew to his chest as if to ward him off. They quickly moved to his upper arms where he felt her nails dig in. Each of his strokes found her passion rising with his ebb and flow. Her fingers traveled his back and as she drew her legs up and around him, her fingers felt the strength of each of his movements ripple underneath her hands. His fingers dug into the silk sheets on either side of her as his need became more urgent and she writhed beneath him, begging him to take her with him. A light sheen of perspiration covered his body and she brushed his hair from his face as he pushed into her harder. "Say 'yes' Karen, say 'yes'." He groaned. "Yes, ohgod, yes Howie!" she screamed as he increased his thrusts. "Marry me, Kitten, god, I can't live without you." He grasped. "Please, Karen!" "Yes, yes I will." She cried out as he shuttered in her arms, giving himself totally to her and she to him. He lay across her, still wrapped in her legs and her love. His head was dropped on her shoulders. "I mean it Kitten, I can't live without you. God, I don't know how I lived this long without you." He whispered. "Welcome home, Howie. You'll never come home to an empty house again." She whispered back. "I love you, Karen." He said, lifting his head to look at her. "I love you, Howie." The End. |
