SUMMARY: Logan is bored and finds himself a twisted night of relief.

It had been one of those nights where Logan became restless. He had just walked out of the last pub in town that had caught his fancy. He didn't know why he was wandering around New York City in the middle of the night. Yet, he felt an irresistable urge to find something to break his spell of boredom. He had wandered down countless alleys and nameless main streets only to find few things sparking his interest.

He'd stopped in at a Motorcycle shop and wandered aimlessly up and down the aisles. The room itself was a long and narrow place, yet wide enough to fit about 10 people fingertip to fingertip from one wall to the other. He'd noted that the only other patron in the small, yet cluttered shop was a younger man in his mid to late 20s- he'd guessed. Long auburn hair that had been pulled back into a low ponytail, and dark shades over his eyes. Logan looked out the open door to see pitch black. They weren't in the same aisle but, Logan took in more notes of his shaded friend. He was tall, much taller than Logan. The kid was thin and lanky, keeping most of his body hidden under a grey duster. The kid wore a black silk button-up shirt and tight black and torn jeans that hugged his slim frame.

"Hey kid! you gonna pay for that, this time?" The clerk called from the back of the room. He was an older man. Not as old as Logan but, not as young as the auburn haired kid he'd been talking to. Somewhat heavyset, and short dark hair. Logan assumed he and the clerk were the same height. The clerk sat behind the counter, watching the two customers and mainly keeping his eyes on the kid.

The kid waved a hand at the clerk but didn't bother to look up from his musings of parts for a late model vintage harley. "Sure, sure. Anyt'in you say, mon capitan." The kid's voice was a low growl almost. Deep and rich with accent.

French? The kid was a Frogger? Logan replayed the kid's deep, gutteral voice over and over in his head. Moving down the aisle to get closer to the kid, he noticed that the kid was moving towards him, too.

They met in the middle with only the long row of display separating them. Both of them looked up at the other, briefly. Logan had quickly memorised the kid's half-hidden face in that instant. Neither man said anything, and neither man offered.

"Psst, Remy! Come on! I got someone for you." A hissed voice came from the doorway. A young lady, possibly younger than the kid, called to him. She had a short, purple wig, knee-high black leather boots, and wore a matching black leather mini-dress. A call girl, one who wore too much makeup. She was very pretty, just like the kid was. But, Logan thought the kid had looked even prettier.

The kid looked at his friend in the doorway. "Non, don' wan' any t'nite. Spendin it wit' ma petite fille." He held up a package of shiny parts to the girl.

"Your loss, babe. They said they wanted only you." She pushed herself off of the frame that she leaned against and waved to him as she walked away.

Logan watched as the kid picked out a few more items and then strolled to the back of the long and tight-fitting room to dump the contents onto the counter. His eyes drifted down the the boy's back and wondered about the kid's subtle continuation of his body that hid so delicately under the duster. Remy had been his name, and what a nice name it was for such a gorgeous creature. Logan lost himself in thought for a moment, but snapped back as the kid had made a noise.

The kid knocked lightly on the countertop to wake the dosing clerk. "I keep my promises, mon ami. Tol' you I pay fo' dem."

"You got money this time, or shall we go in the back room, again?" The clerk grinned obscenely at the kid. Licking his lips, he rang the kid's items up and grabbed his slender hand as the younger man reached out to give the clerk his notes. "I'm always willin to negotiate deals, kid."

Despite the distance, Logan overheard everything. He wondered just what the kid had as a "day job." It seemed that the kid was well-known around this part of town. Logan grunted as he imagined just what the kid's business was. The kid's a whore? He shook his head and replaced what he was looking at, back onto the rack. Sighing, he decided to leave.

***************

A short walk later, Logan found himself strolling down a busy street. Cars honking at each other, blinding lights and an overstock of oddball people all gathered around him. He hadn't cared about blending in to the crowd. His white T-shirt, loose blue jeans and worn cowboy boots seemed to suffice just fine. And he had 6 razored claws that would be willing to debate the topic should anyone bring it up.

Though most of his walk, his eyes had been somewhat downcast, he did manage to glance up to see the kid from the bike shop being surrounded by four lust-hungry men. Men that were about the kid's height but out-weighed him by about 30 pounds, each. He stopped and watched from a considerable distance. He noted that the kid seemed to know his surrounders, and didn't seem to be afraid of them.

One of the men put his arm around the kid and pulled him close to his leather-clad brawniness. Saying something too low for Logan to pick up but, as the man pulled the kid's mouth to his own, Logan could guess what the man said. Another man, also in leather, began fondeling the kid's black-denimed manhood. Commenting on how the kid would feel after a night of fun with the surrounding group.

The kid pulled away. "Non. Not t'nite, mes amis." Feeling he was being watched, the kid backed away from the group. He'd started to turn and walk away when one of them grabbed him and demanded to know the reason.

Logan had had enough. Dropping his cigar onto the pavement and stamping it out, he exhaled the smoke and strolled over to the young man. Taking the kid by the arm and releasing his free hand's claws, he announced to the group that the kid was with him. He had been so busy staring down the group of hungry men, that he hadn't noticed the kid's shocked expression.

"Allright man, you can have the cheap whore! But he can't hide from what he owes me, forever. You owe me a good fuckin', boy!" The one that had managed to kiss the kid, took a step closer to the two and said in a clear tone. Motioning to his friends, they group left.

"You okay, kid?" Logan released the kid's arm and looked back at him. Peering into the dark sunglasses,
he saw the kid nod and begin to brush himself off. Logan thought the kid had guts to be able to remain collected throughout the whole ordeal. It didn't seem to phase him that the four men had more than just lust on their minds.

"Merci, m'sieur. Remy is greatful. Now, if you'll excuse moi, Dere is somet'in I need t'do." Again, the kid turned to leave but was stopped, this time by Logan.

"They're still watchin us. We'd better play this out, kid. Come on, I got an apartment not too far from here." Logan grinned as the kid followed in a muted puzzlement. "By the way, name's Logan. I take it, yer Remy?"

"Oui. Remy LeBeau. Y' de man from de bike shoppe, non?"

"Yea. Name's Logan." Logan led the kid down the street, which was becoming more dark due to less
street lights and cars. He glanced over his shoulder to see that the kid was close on his heels. "You always let them tell ya what to do and how to do it?"

Remy shook his head and walked even faster to catch up. "Non. It don' work like dat. Remy do what ONLY he wan' t'do."

Logan stopped. He turned to face the kid who also stopped, abruptly. "Then why did I have to help you outta that mess? One of their dicks slide into you, you'd be ripped apart."

"Non, mon ami. Dey been doin dat to Remy fo' a while now." Taking a playing card from his pocket, Remy held it up to the small man and charged it between his fingers. "Remy can take care of hisself."

They continued to walk. Into a semi-ritzy building and up a few floors to a door. Logan had unlocked it and motioned for the kid to enter. Once inside, he shut and locked the door behind him. From the front door, on the left, the tall oak dresser stood off to the far wall. The bed sat inbetween the two gentlemen as a protector of the dresser. At the end of the bed, stood two tall windows side by side. The spacious room hadn't been cluttered with useless things like coffee tables and stereo systems, or a television set. Off to the right, the small walk in kitchenette. The bathroom that had been pretty good sized, sat across from the kitchen. He sniffed. The scent of the four men had followed them to his apartment. Logan guessed two were lingering in the lobby, and the other 2 just off the fire escape.

Remy looked about the semi-furnished apartment. Nice furniture, china plates and a comfy bed, that he now sat upon. "Why we here, mon ami? Is dere somet'ing Remy can do for you? He real good at earnin
his keep." The kid's hand had started to run over the smooth blanket that was a rich maroon colour. He looked at Logan, who had been sitting in a backwards chair just opposite of him.

"I don't fuck kids. Let alone guys. Sorry if I misled ya. But, yer welcome to stay here for the night."
Logan grunted and lit a cigar. He offered a puff to his guest but, shrugged as the kid shook his head and took out his own smoke and lit it with a touch of his glowing finger.

"Remy not a kid, cher. I bet I could show you a t'ing or two. Remy could lie dere and let you explore 'im. Or, Remy can do all da work?" The kid pushed up off the bed and slid closer to the brawny man who was still sitting in the chair.

Logan had to admit, the kid looked very tempting. Shaking his head, he stood up and headed over to his dresser and opened a drawer. "Aint happenin. Here's a shirt, you can have the bed." Logan turned and tossed the black, short-sleeve shirt onto the bed. Turning back, he closed the drawer and started to tell the kid something else, but before he could get his words to form, Remy had closed the distance and took Logan's mouth to his own. Logan froze for a moment, then relaxed into the kiss as Remy wrapped his arms around the short, muscular body.

Pulling back, Logan sputtered for a moment and then pushed past the kid and headed for the quaint bathroom, adjacant to the front door.

"Where you goin?" Remy had turned and let his eyes follow his host.

"Cold shower. I told ya, I don't do guys." Logan continued walking, not bothering to look back. When he came to the bathroom door, he stopped and looked back at the bewildered kid. "I aint sayin you gotta stay if you don't want to.  But, I think you better."

Remy shrugged. Staying in a room with a guy, and there was no sex? He shook his head. Was something the matter with him? There had to be a reason. No man had ever turned him down. Just in case, he decided to sneak into the bathroom and learn more about his host. Just to be safe.

Logan had been telling the truth. He was in the shower, and it was cold, by the way he shivered slightly. Logan had also been in that much of a hurry, or he simply forgot he had a guest, that he left the bathroom door open a crack.

Remy watched him a for few seconds, before sneaking in to the huge, plush washroom. The white carpet on the floor was a nice feeling to him. Even the somewhat transparent blue glass, that replaced the normally clear sliding door, was a comfort to him. Through the blue glass, Remy could see his target. He was still in the shower, with his head right under the fancy showerhead. Logan was facing the
showerhead that hung on the far left wall. His eyes were closed, so Remy could easily sneak in and take him by surprise. Instead, he leaned there, against the wall, in front of the shower. His eyes focused on Logan and his movements.  Holding the T-shirt in his hands, in front of him, he waited for the water to turn off and for Logan to turn around to see himself being observed by his guest.

The fawcett squeaked as it was turned off tightly. Wringing his hair out with his hands and then turning to open the door, Logan stared at the boy.  "Don't give up, do ya?" He cleared his throat and opened the door to reach for his towel that had been sitting folded on the rack beside the opened shower door. Drying himself off, he kept his eyes on the boy. He wrapped it around his waist and pushed past Remy as he
made his way back into the bedroom to get dressed.

Remy had followed him. "I don' get ya, homme. Yo' body, it say it wan' Remy. You, y' say y' don' do boys. Cher, I saw de way y' looked at Remy in de shoppe. What y' no tellin, hehn?" He stood in the doorway to the washroom and watched Logan change into sweatpants and an old, white T-shirt.

"Don't it just piss you off that I aint gonna fuck you?" Logan finished getting dressed and was now drying his hair with the towel. He watched Remy's brief anger before calmly laughing to himself. The laughter stopped when Remy tossed the shirt onto the bed and turned towards the door. "Now, where do ya think yer goin?"

"Home." Remy hadn't turned around. "Need t' t'ink bout somet'in."

Logan raised an eyebrow. "Like what?"

Remy stopped and turned around, his hand resting on the doorknob. "Bout who cocked yo' dick an' didn' swallow." He had said it, straight-faced and in perfect time to turn back around and leave before the other man could get his response out. Walking down the wide and clean corridor, Remy felt for the man who now stood in the doorway to his apartment and watched him leave. He smiled as he pictured Logan's shocked face at his bold statement.

Making it to the lift, and stepping inside, he turned around to watch the doors close. His eyes opened wide as 3 vertical claws prevented the doors from coming together. He hadn't moved when the doors opened again and revealed the same man from the apartment. His arm was grabbed and he was yanked out of the car and led back down the corridor.

"Yer friends are closin in. One's on the fire escape and I'm pretty sure the others are on their way up." Tossing Remy back into the apartment and telling him to stay put, he slammed the door shut and jammed
it to stop it from being opened again. Logan released the rest of his claws and stood in the middle of the empty corridor and waited. He sniffed. Finally, something to cure his boredom.
