The song presented here is "The Dark Ride" of Helloween
Logan
Click. Ignition. Deep powerful roar silencing another, low, angry
growl escaping from too broad, too thick, too muscular chest.
Pearl-white flash of cannines, long enough to make Dracula himself
hide in shame.
Steel-blue eyes flashing through golden for a moment, then turning
back to liquid angry silver.
Swirl of gravel and fading thunder, autumn gold, red and brown
melting in one color at the high speed.
*FLASH--- All together having lunch, joking and laughing as usual.
Red-on-black fire blazing with deep strained emotions, still
unreadable. *
The lights of the passing vehicles blinding sensitive hunter
eyes
for seconds.
*FLASH--- Auburn locks falling damp over slender shoulders, water
pouring over lanky body. Perfect aristocratic features caressed by
the water streams or hiding tears, cause a sweet-salty smell is mixed
with the unique, enthralling scent of Cajun – expensive french
cologne, old bourbon and faint smell of cigarettes.
Storm-blue eyes ravaging broad chest, thin waist, narrow hips and
impossibly long legs. Crimson-on-coal meeting blue thunder and again
those powerful emotions are in it. Captured, barely withheld, trying
to surface. Radiating like a raging storm. Strong enough to shatter
one heart.
Or two. *
Anger building up flooding the mind, uneasy feeling capturing
a
beating heart in steel grip. Unexplainable fear stretching cold
fingers toward a troubled soul.
Snarl and a flash of wolfish teeth.
"Damn it kid! Why ya havta gimme such a hard time…"
*FLASH--- Auburn locks fleeting, dazzling smile flashed at one very
annoyed Wolverine from one playful thief. Thick cajun accent, voice
deep with lust and… love????!!!!
"De name `s Gambit, Wolvie. Cann' catch me"—as long legs start
sprinting out of the mansion. *
*FLASH--- Thin, elegant body carelessly sprawled over the couch, hand
flipping the remote control. Boredom leaking out.
"Wanna beer Gumbo?"—deep voice followed by a low vibrating sound,
almost like chuckling.
Scarlet demon eyes flashing amazement, joy, turning soft and longing…
and then…darkening in accepted desperation. Full, sinuous lips
curving in a cocky smirk.
"Sure Wolvie"
Snorted "Brat"
" `k cher, jus' wan' t' teas' y' " that sensual smile sending shivers
down his spine. "Remy `s happy t' join y' mon ami." *
*FLASH--- Long, slender fingers passing from his shoulder to his neck
almost abruptly, almost… caressing… Sweet, spicy Cajun scent
surrounding, hypnotizing him. Hot, liquid breath behind his ear. Soft
whisper. Lips teasing with the absence of touch.
"Wanna join Remy cher? De bars a' waitin'…"
Heart leaping and skipping a beat, adrenaline pumping, breath
quickening.
"Don't play with fire Cajun. Ya'll get burned"
Electrifying touch of lips over earlobe.
"Mebbe Remy wan' g't burn' cher. Ashes h'v no memori's mon ami. Mebbe
Remy wan' t' f'get ev'ryt'n but dis las' burn… Logan"—such palpable
pain, loneliness and desire in the hushed whispering. *
City lights, endless row of bars and clubs. Finally a familiar
Harley.
Silence. Then the heavy click of the supporting stand. Big hand
feeling the other engine. Cold.
Bouncer startling and moving aside.
Dark, gothic atmosphere, crushing-loud sound. Fanatic, pulsing music.
Bodies dancing sinking into oblivion, swinging, touching… anonymous,
careless for everything but the beat and the dim light.
Silver-clouded blue searching, locating and locking upon sculptured
body.
Auburn locks twisting, swirling, caressing marble-carved face –
mirror of sorrowful oblivion and pure ecstasy. Eyes shut, hands and
hips swaying with the beat. Black leather embracing lean legs, narrow
hips and perfectly rounded rear. Scarlet heavy silk enveloping broad
chest and toned abs in lustful lover's embrace.
Sharp pain and a click inside. Mind – clear, heart – pounding, soul
accepting and drowning… An old song recalled by the treacherous
memory.
"Standing in line
to get to the fairground
Heading
to the wicked side
One way
ticket, there is no returning
Leave
your soul at the gates
Out of
doubt, no hope"
Of getting out of… love.
A predator closing his prey from behind. Steel-strong well muscled
arms gripping armful of Cajun waist.
Body soul and mind ignited
Snarl, sniff, quick lick on the back of the neck, tightening of the
grip. Hands roaming over lean chest, feeling frantic heartbeat. Tall
Cajun turning tears falling from burgundy depths. Sinuous lips
opening to speak but sealed in a soul-devouring kiss by broad
masculine ones. Hellfire-on-pitch-black shocked, waiting like for a
death sentence.
" So lon' wa'ted f' dis cher. Now y' may kill m'. Remy `s re'dy t'
die."
Logan snarled again, grabbing fistful of auburn hair and pulling hard
aside, revealing long, pale neck and vulnerable throat. His tongue
traced the fine angular jawline, sliding down to catch and suck on
Remy's earlobe. Hands flew and grabbed his shoulders.
"Stop dis torture cher. Remy can' tak' no mor'."
Grinning Logan bit hard at the sweet spot between neck and shoulder.
Cannines puncturing the skin, entering the flesh and drawing hot
blood. Remy's fingers dug hard in his back.
Licking, tasting and swallowing the Cajun's blood Logan's eyes become
golden for one long second.
//Intoxicating. This is the drug I needed. // thought Logan. "Ye'r
mine now Cajun and I don't share"—he growled
Every sense torn and ripped apart by the very presence of Remy LeBeau
in his arms.
"F' h'w lon' y'll wan' me cher, cause dis cajun ain' plannin' on
letin' y' g' `way. No' `fter t'ni't."
" Yer gonna satisfy with the rest of yer goddamned natural life… Rem"
Sunset-on-black-velvet locking with winter-grey-blue and the old song
continued playing in Logan's mind
"Step inside and take this final journey
Your fantasies will come true
Inclination without liberation
Life's carousel is catching you
Even through the darkest phase
Be it thick or thin
I'm your pain when you can't feel
Driven to our final fate
Jump out of this game
Is there any wonder?
Why we came about
Was it for love?
Or to let sin abound
Isn't it a wonder
Awake from blood thick dreams
Remove all the stones from our hearts
We must all believe
Ohhh, will we find a way to the other side
Heading for a light
I force the engine of your deadly sins
Even through the darkest phase
Be it thick or thin
I'm your pain when you can't feel
I know too well you'll follow me, you follow me down"
End
