The Big Engagement Day occured on May 20, 1999, our third year anniversary. We both knew we would marry each other, but the question was WHEN. Jeremy tried keeping it a surprise, but little did he know that I knew his plans. Little clues would come about before May 20, 1999, and I pieced it all together on my own. I did not let him know though.


On May 20, Jeremy was at the Olive Garden with both his parents as well as mine. I came home from work, and he called me to tell me to meet him (didn't mention the parents) at the Olive Garden for dinner.

So I drove over there with excitement. At dinner, he removed a box from under our table. I opened it, and there was a stuffed Pooh Bear holding roses and a jewelry box! I read the card, and it said, "Will you marry me?" Of course, in the box was my engagement ring!

Indeed, I said, "Yes!" after much smiling...
