Intelligent people are turning away in droves from established religions, but from that point on they don't know where to turn. It seems to me that humans need something to belong to, something to unite them, and something to strive for. Luciferions could be the answer for some people.

Not a religion, as such, Luciferions study, and are in awe of, Universal Intelligence. Universal Intelligence doesn't have a name, we have no idea what it looks like, or indeed whether it even exists. But we acknowlege the fact that our feeble brains cannot possibly know all there is to know. And therefore we accept the possibility that there may be some indefinable and mighty force governing the universe.

We call that force, Lucifer, although it might just as well be called Fred.

Here's what we do know – we know with absolute certainty that every word spoken or written about "god" is nonsense. Whatever form Universal Intelligence might take, it definitely does not murder children, or afflict men with haemorrhoids, or boast horns growing from its hands, and smoke billowing from its nostrils. It does not instruct men to eat excrement and drink urine. It doesn't force mothers to eat their children. It doesn't shave, bellow, and collect foreskins, nor does it expose its "back parts" and play tunes through its anus – all of which are attributed to the Hebrew god, Jehovah.

If you clicked on the Universal Intelligence link above, you probably asked yourself if the creator of that astounding universe would travel to this speck of cosmic dust to teach men how to dig latrines, how to trim their beards, and how to sacrifice birds to cure women of their "uncleanliness". If you didn't ask yourself that, perhaps you should re-read the Robert Ingersoll quote, then return to this page, and ask yourself how you could have been so blind and so stupid all these years, as to believe that the hideous, disgusting and sadistic abomination described in the Bible was responsible for creating our universe.

Engage your brain, just for a second, and it will hit you in a blinding flash that you have been lied to. Everything you've been brainwashed to believe about "god" is nonsense. And what about "Son of God, who is God"?

Jehovah's alleged "son", one Jesus of Nazareth, condoned slavery, despised gentiles (i.e. you and me), he advised men to amputate their hands and to gouge out their eyes. He cured an imbecile by transferring his "demons" into 10,000 pigs, and then drowned the pigs. When a fig tee refused to produce fruit out of season, he cursed it to death. Anyone who questioned his "god" status, Jesus condemned to an eternity spent writhing and screaming in hell. And when he died, corpses of "saints" clambered from their graves, strolled into Jerusalem and "appeared unto many".

Any person with so much as one active brain cell, who applies that brain cell to these issues, will realise that everything they've been taught about "god" and Jesus is unadulterated crap. Regretably, few people have what it takes to question their own conditioning.

As ludicrous as the Hebrew gods are, they are not alone. Hindu gods have multiple arms like an octopus, or heads like an elephant. Or they can change into a lion and back again at will. The Muslim god is of course the same as the Hebrew god, after a name change. Mankind has worshipped everything from snake-gods to monkey-gods and gods of the divine mouse droppings.

All gods share one thing in common – they are as silly as can be. And as you would expect, the laws and codes of conduct issued by these gods reflect that silliness. How could it be otherwise, the gods and their laws were fabricated by ignorant men.
