It explains better than I can, better than anyone can, how hideously we've been deceived by religionists.What you'll find on this site are essays that I and other people have written, describing the perilous situation we now find ourselves in, as a result of erroneous beliefs. First let me make one thing clear; we are not devil worshippers. We call ourselves Luciferions to give our group a focus, to fix an image in people's minds. Atheism and agnosticism are fine, but how can you focus on nothingness?
By calling ourselves Luciferions we have at our disposal a wealth of graphic imagery, which makes our group visually exciting. The Christian Church has done a brilliant job of marketing Lucifer as the "devil", although his only sin was to challenge Jehovah's power. Compared to the countless atrocities and obscenities committed by Jehovah, Lucifer's life was one of purity, excellence and benevolence.
Lucifer was expelled from heaven for seeking knowledge and for challenging Jehovah. Jehovah lived in fear of anyone acquiring knowledge. According to that absurd book, the Bible, Jehovah expelled Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden for eating the fruit from the tree of knowledge. He and his fellow gods smashed the Tower of Babel for the same reason.
Who were these "gods" and why were they so frightened of people acquiring knowledge? Clearly, the "gods" were the wizard-priests who had a few clues not many about life. Most of all they knew how to control and manipulate people, and they were very protective of that power. Hence, anyone who came close to knowledge was expelled and punished. Lucifer had to go!
Lucifer was the Persian god of light and life, while Jehovah was modeled on the universal god of darkness and death. Jehovah was adopted by the Hebrews (Jews) to lead them into battle. "The Lord is a man of War" said Moses. Whenever the Hebrews were in a mood to slaughter innocent women and children, they invoked the god of death, Jehovah, and blamed him for their atrocities.
After the expulsion of the Hebrews from Canaan (they never did reach the "promised land"), a disillusioned Jew named Saul (aka "Saint" Paul), fabricated a saviour whom we now know as Jesus and sold it to the gullible masses as "the son of God".
There's plenty more reading on this, further on, but one thing I would ask of you, please do not take my word for anything I say. Check everything in your Bible and other references. If you don't do that, I could be lying through my teeth like the church does. Check everything!
Here's the situation we're in now. We've got Jews murdering Palestinians, destroying their homes and driving the survivors from their land. They do this because Jehovah god instructs them to. We've got Muslims responding by murdering Americans, Australians and Balinese because Mohammed instructs them to. And we've got Americans waging war on Iraq because they can, and because they've got a bob each way; with a bit of luck they'll win the war, but if they don't, it doesn't matter because Armageddon is predicted in the Old and the New Testaments, so if it all goes wrong and there's a nuclear war, it's what God wants, and the good guys Americans are going to heaven anyway.
These cruel and dangerous beliefs have put the entire world in jeopardy. As I write this, we are just weeks, maybe days away, from declaring war on Iraq. America might win the first round, but it will certainly lose the century. And we, the people of the world, will pay the price. Paradoxically, the born-again, fundamentalist, god-fearing, bible bashers, will suffer alongside us. And like the Jews who wailed and gnashed their teeth when they were dispersed 2,000+ years ago, and the prophesied "messiah" didn't appear, born-agains will be wailing and gnashing their teeth when their Jesus is, once again, a no show.
So what is the point of the Luciferions? In a nutshell, we exist to undermine and destroy religious thought and action, and to replace both with wisdom, reason and compassion.
